This problem was first reported 3 months ago, and if you look at the original posts in this thread, they all say "after a sw update".

I sent my info over to Colette a while ago, but never got contacted by customer support.

Sorry, I have to finish this post. I need to get back to my tourneys on 888

How is it possible that I can play for an hour in my house on my home network and then get geolocated out when I haven't moved?

This is a design shortcoming of geolocation for sure. Not sure if the regulation requires constant re-checking. Clearly there are not too many people playing online from a moving vehicle.

If we wanted to suggest a change to DGE, there is really no formal way. The only way to bring up any issue is via formal complaint, which is pointless if the regulation is actually written that way by design.

Ghost -- what would be great is if Party said something like the following:

"We are required by the DGE to use geolocation, and to regularly attempt to confirm that our players are located in the State of New Jersey. Unfortunately, the technology is not yet perfect and inaccurate readings may occur, even when earlier readings during the same session indicated that the player is in New Jersey. This often is caused by ______________. If you get a pop-up that says that you cannot play because you are not located in the State and that message is erroneous, here are some things you can do to try to help the system correct its mistake: ______________________."

Frankly, it's hard to believe that we're so far into the NJ online poker industry and geolocation is still having these problems. But OK, I'm no tech expert and perhaps this is not a reasonable view -- so if the system still cannot be fixed despite Party's best efforts, then how about a little basic customer service to try to address the issue as best as possible?

I seem to experience the problem sometimes depending on the floor/room I am in at Borgata while trying to get located on PartyPoker/BorgataPoker. Pretty convenient to be at the property able to cash money out and deposit money physically at the cage but not even able to locate the fact I am in NJ in the exact same building.

Good job guys, nice site you run, keep up the GREAT work

Just moved to NJ. I can connect via my laptop in my building but when i try using my wifi on my desktop two feet away the software continues to say I am not located within New Jersey, any ideas?
