Which prepaid cars work? Which prepaid cars work?

06-08-2015 , 12:42 PM
TD bank will not let me deposit at borgata. Have called them multiple times to try to remove restrictions on card but they will not let any gambling charges go through. I can deposit on my credit card but for 20 dollar deposit it charges me 30. Don't really understand why a debit card is not working. Is There a prepaid card that will work for deposits?

edit: can a mod change title to cards ad not cars?

you can use those prepaid gift card - mastercards that come in 25$,50$ and hte ones initially loadable up to 500$. if u gonna do this method for a lot of sites best get one of the ones where u choose the amount and put extra on it to cover several sites. they have like a 5$ fee when u buy em

you can find them in certain supermarkets- i know pathmark, shoprite, for sure carries them and i believe a&p too. dont know about those reloadable credit cards. just saying i know for a fact the mastercard giftcards work. not sure the visa ones will

could always use the pay near me at 7 eleven

Every method comes along with fees that are unreasonable (in my opinion).

Neteller and Skrill seem to work from what I have heard.

And if you find yourself in Atlantic City, you can deposit at the cage at Borgata. No fees for giving them your cash directly.

Thanks, I have tried the green dot visa card ones and they did not work. Will have to give the prepaid mastercards a try.

Have you tried ACH? Id honestly look into getting a second checking acct with another bank. ACH is super convenient to deposit / withdraw

With the Internet gambling law, many banks want nothing to do with online gaming. Even now that it's regulated, they don't want to explain to auditors why they allow these transactions and not others.

If you guys are going to recommend ACH, can I ask that you just list which banks you use right now? At least then we can get a list of banks that seem to work. The only time we hear about banks is when they refuse to process these transactions.

The OP claims TD is the bank that won't let him deposit. Could they really have different rules for different account holders?

Maybe they changed their rules recently?

So far, I've only used ACH, and I'm with jp morgan. I tried using my debit card first, it got declined, and went to support to see what was good. They advised me checks/ach is the fastest and most efficient, that most players use. And they weren't lying.

So far in and out going transactions take 1 business day to go through. It's pretty cum inducing tbh.

Btw, that isn't a bad idea that someone mentioned, to open a separate checking account strictly for gaming transactions in jersey. Since the winnings get taxed anyway it's better that way and easier to keep track of what's going on.

I use Santander (the old Sovereign Bank) and its never denied a deposit weather it be ACH or debit card. But on a side note, I hate Santander for other reasons. They are the only bank that has a branch in my town so they got me by the balls for convenience

Jenger. Honestly friend. I'm sure I'm speaking for all of us here. Thank you. We all thank you for enlightening us that Santander was once known as Sovereign. I'm not stretching by any means to refer to your post as nothing short of a cognitive revolution.

Also, where do you live dude that Santander is the only branch in your town? I feel like your living in a Stephen King movie of some sort where everything & everyone in the town disappears besides you & Santander.

Also, not only Santander has you by the balls after your enlightening post. We all want your balls now lover. Thus, you have all of us by the kahooones

Well I saw this new option PayNearMe for deposits and it could not have went easier. They send you an email or txt with a bar code. Go to closest 7-11 and they scan it and you can put 10-500 dollars in. No charge. Money was in account by the time I got home 2 minutes later.

that's Freaking awesome actually.

I wonder how they worked out the 7-11 partnership.

Looking forward to the upcoming "slurpee" free-rolls - last 25 players get a coupon .... :-P

But seriously, this is a great option. Assume it only works for deposits? Like could we withdraw from there?

I've done the 7-11 deposit too. Real easy.

Just stay away from the cardboard pizza

If you find their cardboard pizza unappetizing, you have never been hungry enough.

lol- i prefer a bucket of slurpee , keeps me sugared up enough to grind more
06-16-2015 , 03:42 AM
So seriously, this is only one-way right? You can only deposit this way, not withdraw?
06-16-2015 , 12:27 PM
yeah its only one way. no withdrawals. if you didnt have a bank account to use for withdrawal you'd be stuck with check by mail or cash at the cage for withdrawal

if you deposit money at 7-11, can you use a promo code? How would you enter it if the money goes directly into your party account from 7-11?

I would guess you are supposed to contact Customer Support and have them apply the code. At least that's the way other sites do it. YMMV.
