NEWSFLASH: The
rest of us are in
2014, but not for much longer ...and then we are heading over to
2015.
...Oh, yeah, Geographically, we are in the United States of America; specifically, in the state of New Jersey (i.e., not third-world).

If 10.10 is a "minor" update, what's a major update look like? The Matrix???

Apple ≠ Partners with PartyGaming ...not in any way, shape, or form.
PartyGaming is
ThirdParty Spy- ...err, Soft-ware; e.g.,
unreliable and untrustworthy.

As opposed to implementation of the software model known as

No application is expected to do anything, to make updates of any kind. Not even the legitimate "partners." They are free to peddle their wares exclusively on Windows or Linux ...and, just as well, to refuse to conform to
their updates and compatibility requirements. ...That is, if they don't want access to these
markets.
Hell, they can refuse compliance all the way back to the casinos. In fact, they even have the option to refuse compliance to the updates in the live realm. We call these updates: LAWS.

SERIOUSLY???
How does your foot taste?

And Party wouldn't be aware of this? And Party wouldn't try contacting Apple? SERIOUSLY???

Sounds like
you work for Party, brah.
BURN!
CONCLUSION
SIMPLY PUT: Contrary to the incentives to do otherwise (to comply) -- such as profitability and customer satisfaction -- BWIN (aka PartyGaming & Borgata) has not complied (i.e., updated their code) with the latest release of Apple's operating system, OS X 10.10, because, either...
A) Despite having been around in the I-N-T-E-R-N-E-T G-A-M-I-N-G business for 10+ years, BWIN is an utterly incompetent company, and they simply can't manage to handle some of the things such as software updates (Who would've expected??? Am I rite?) by
one of only
two operating systems that their software will run on. ...and that
that Operating System (that they can't handle) would just happen to be
the more secure OS.
What a coincidence. I think not.
B)
BWIN makes software that is malicious.
C)
All of the above.
EXPLANATION
A paradigm shift: We now live in a world, where enough users' care about their privacy. Hence, Apple has implemented new measures to safeguard the privacy of its' users' and protect their security. PartyGaming is NOT SECURE.
PartyGaming is Spyware. And it always has been. ALL of the online poker sites are.
Look it up.
Enough "coincidences" and they're no longer coincidences; the facade fades, and the design begins to unfold. It is all by design, not incompetence.
SOLUTION
STOP trusting these sites with your vital information, entirely. They don't care about their customers at all. They are there ONLY to exploit you. Do NOT expect them to EVER "wake up" and respond to your complaints.
DEMAND PROGRESS! VOTE with your wallet, and BOYCOTT those sites that behave poorly. STOP letting these sites rape and sh.it all over you. It makes it easier for them to get away with abusing ALL OF US.
DEMAND OPENNESS AND ACCOUNTABILITY. SETTLE FOR NOTHING!
Ad-hoc Solution(s)
1. Go back to the [old] status quo: Partition your disk and install Mavericks. Party & Borgata will still work there.
2. Install Windows Bootcamp. This is more work, and you will need a copy of Windows.
3. Install a Virtual Machine and run either OS X 10.9.x or Windows, or both.
