Party_Rep - "Friends" Feature Needs Improvements Party_Rep - "Friends" Feature Needs Improvements

Sometimes when you try to add some people to your friends, it just doesn't work. There is no pattern. It's not just Borgata accounts or PartyPoker accounts. It seems random. Certain accounts I added with no problem, and others error out.

And I also would say, why have a "friends" feature if you can't private message them? There are a few people I would like to msg but chatting at public tables is not ideal.

I admit, this is a low priority. But since you guys are catching up in the forum, I thought I would put it out there.

On reviewing the friends option we found it is functioning effectively. Kindly note that all friends’ links are reciprocal, which means that players need to mutually agree
on being friends before and after the relationship is established and depends on the Privacy Options selected by the user. Using options available in Friends > Privacy Settings you can disable receiving friends requests from anyone or become invisible to people
trying to look-‘em up. At those moments anyone sending you a Friend’s request would receive a generic error. If this doesn't answer your question, please write in to our customer care so we can have the engineers investigate.

Will forward your feedback about including Private message feature. Currently to share messages you can post comments on your friend's activity.

Thank you very much for this reply. This additional information does help.

Please note, I am talking about people who know I am trying to add them. In order for the request to be sent for their approval / disapproval, a user must "add" them to send a request first. This is the part of the process that does not work consistently. Certainly if somebody does not accept your friend request, that is a completely separate thing.

I will check to see if the settings are the issue, IE if some of those people have their accounts set up to not receive requests. But I am pretty sure thats not it. By and large, these are all people who have other friends already. Also, they also have told me that they get an error trying to send requests to me. I know that I can receive requests.

Bump.

This error still hasn't been fixed.

they chalked that one up to "dumb stupid users" it seems.

they spend more money on censoring words like "button" and figuring out what other words to censor than they do on marketing, fixes, improvements

This feature, although novel, is really not doing much for anyone. I'd rather you remove anything BUT poker, and stick to the basics, but just get them right.
