Yes, there are Omaha games. So noted. But as a % of all activity, miniscule.

Palladin -- O and O8 has always paled in comparison to NLHE by number of games. Right now the number of O/O8 games on Party is exceeding any level that existed in the past. I don't know what's going on at other sites. The Omaha action seems to be at Party, and the number of games going seems better than at any time in NJ's online poker history to date.

can we just get waitlists and software that doesn't crash?

That ravager dude definitely needles his opponents after a pot. That dude seems like he loves himself. Oh, & most of us are very superstitious people. The last thing I'd to is air out or boast about your won rate.

Be very careful ravanger. Oh, & I've played 400nl many times & do not recognize the name.

Love you ravangeries

Hello
06-26-2014 , 02:47 PM
You have zero Stud or Stud Hi-Lo tournaments and one PLO Hi-Lo tournament. Why do you have to start this tournament at 23:25? Start it at 21:00 and you would get more players. This is NJ. We needn't take Chinese, Russian and Eastern European wake up times into consideration.

There are many key areas of the room that need immediate improvement and we're pleased that the process is in full swing namely with the release of our updated daily tournament lineup which features $30,000 in total guarantees from 7-11:30p. We'll be following the release of the daily schedule with an update of our Sit & Go's. This post is from May 9th. When are these changes being implemented?

is the site any better for geolocation and software?

I've basically gave up 4 months ago and just cashed out today because I forgot about it. I will just wait til Stars comes in the market or not at all because I got kicked off every 5 minutes playing poker. But playing roulette and blackjack I never got booted off once in 8 hours of play, weird?

Dude i played in the Sunday 50k at 5:30. Middle of the summer at 5:30 pm. What has my life turned into? Whatever happen to bicycle rides to the beach and staring into the sun with my 1/2 flat World Cup soccer ball as my pillow?

A cheap Stud and a Stud Hi/Lo tournament, one Saturday and one Sunday, both at a decent hour, to start stirring up interest in something other than NLHE and PLO. And don't make the tables 5 handed.

+ make it a guarantee or it will never go off. id love to see a stud8 and horse(can pp do horse?) once a week or on sat and sun. id doubt PP would do more than a 10$ buyin 250$G but meh.

+ any special promos to try to get limit games running.

I know im dreaming on both counts. lets see what pokerstars does I guess.

also I miss the 3k staring stackes + 3k rebuys. I guess 2k and 2k are sticking around?

Run it twice option!!

Whenever players go all in, there should be an option to run it twice. Both pokerstars and fulltilt offer something like this.

Also it's good for business - Lowers varaince so overall it keeps players playing longer so obv more rake.

This thread would be a lot better if, before people posted game changes/ideas, they read the State law that provides what he online poker operators are allowed to offer. Pipe dream, I know.

attitude from niss?

care to elaborate?

from the above recent posts im not seeing anything that would offend you so much. was it horse? theyve ran all mtts aside from razz in the past.

anyway these site only care about non poker gambling degens so any improvement to the poker side are going to be few and far between.

Not offended. Just a thought when I saw the "run it twice" option, after having been reading other suggestions in this thread over time and 3 pages of posts (99 posts per page tyvm).

NJ has very specific regulations regarding the poker games that are and are not authorized in the State and how those games must be played. I was guessing that in general posters have no idea that these regulations exist or what they say, so it would be helpful, if we're going to address games that should/should not be offered or ways those games should be played, that we be informed about what the regulations do and do not allow.

For example, running it twice is expressly allowed. Razz however is not on the list of authorized games.

NJ poker regulations aren't set in stone. They can be amended if something is a good idea, enough people want it, and the state either doesn't lose money or makes more more from it.

Is the authorized games list the same for B&M play and online?

Suggestion: bring back GTD bounty games.

I am not aware of any difference from the law for live games:

13:69F-14.8 Types of permissible poker games

(a) A casino licensee may offer the following types of poker games:

1. Seven-card stud (high, low, high-low split, and high-low split eight or better);
2. Hold 'em (high);
3. Omaha (high, high-low split eight, or better);
4. Five-card draw (high and low);
5. Five-card stud (high);
6. Mambo stud (high-low split six or better); and
7. Badugi.

[I think there was an amendment in the past year to allow Crazy Pineapple to be dealt, under the Hold 'em reg]

(b) No casino licensee shall offer or permit the playing of any poker game in its casino room or casino simulcasting facility which is not authorized by this subchapter.

In that case, razz is on the approved list - just under it's more technical name of Seven-card stud low. This was part of the amendment from a couple years ago, and since then it's been spread as part of cash games and tournaments at the Borgata.
