Daily Double Chance - removed from schedule Daily Double Chance - removed from schedule

10-13-2014 , 07:09 AM
Hi all,

Please note that we will be removing the Daily Double Chance - $5,000 Gtd which runs daily at 21:00 ET. This will be removed from Monday 13th Oct.

We will be replacing this tournament in the near future and will be announcing this as soon as possible.

Thanks for your understanding

add a 20$ 2500 G non Turbo

bring back the 10$ 750G SUPER BOUNTY non turbo

would love more 50's but you keep taking them away/they dont hit G's.

and slap some G's on the newest added mtts like the plo8's (and increase starting stacks)

Loved that tournament.....knew it was doomed though.

Some thoughts:
1) Whatever you replace it with make sure there is room in the schedule for the 10:00pm players (The triple chance pays less than $200 and is not playable). Players starting at 10:00 couldn't get into the double chance. This is a contributing factor to why this thing couldn't get over 55 players.

2) Put a a cap on max field size (your not getting many players anyway)...How bout 9:00 $75 45-man max (3k Guarentee), 10:00 $30 45 man max (1200GTD) 11:00 $20 90 man KO Turbo $1600 GTD w $5 bounties minimum (the kind of tourney people would stay up for). Get rid of the triple chance and double chance and you'll be replacing the 6k in guarantee with $5800 in GTD money.

3) Promote your tournaments. The Double chance should of been a Marquee NJ tournament. Instead no one regged, most people only bought in for one bullet. Add some prestige to these tournies and take the time to make sure people know about them.

US players used to love the 45 man and 90 man sit-n-gos. This makes total sense to me and is win for everyone. You have to pay 6 or 7 spots only though and make sure 1-3 get a good score.

I have more ideas if you don't like this one. (for example, Just make the 9:00 a $50 5k again, but add a $5-$10 bounty, bring back the 2hr late reg and boom problem solved).

Whatever you choose....please don't make it suck

One last idea...

Step 1: Take the $200 a night I'm saving you with my 45-man/90man proposal

Step 2: Market the 10K, 5k, 3k, 1600, and 1200 as the "Big 5"

Step 3: Offer a weekly leaderboard where the top 5 players win a ticket to the Sunday 50K. It'll reinforce people playing more tournies and increase your user engagement through the night (Maybe your cash game traffic too).

Just thinking about it further...there is easily 45 regs playing across sites every night. It's guaranteed to work.

Anyone have any good theories on why they decided to make a new thread for this? Doubt it's because they just wanted to give us a heads up....could just be someone told someone else to start a new thread on 2p2 though.

(Savant you're wasting your time btw, unless you're here to be entertained like the rest)

Savant has just given the daily mtt schedule more thought than anyone at PPNJ ever has.

I was referring to all the wasted effort other players have put into providing feedback regarding the schedule.

6 max mtts 1k guaranteed . Used to be one around 7 pm daily. Over 200 players every evening

Can you guys at least give us an update on when we can expect to see a new night time schedule?

It's important for the health of the market you guys get something up. There is nothing playable on Party/Borg past 8pm

It would seem that we are still in the near future, and that it is not yet possible for them to add the new tournament.

How's that for an update?

Maybe they're waiting for PokerStars to enter NJ and see its evening line-up, and offer something comparable? Eh, who am I kidding? PokerStars is being detained (might have Ebola) and B/PP isn't paying attention to other sites' offerings!

And this morning, it looks like they removed the $2 RB+AO $200 GTD 9 AM tourney. It usually got 30+ players, and the RBs and AOs usually came close to covering the inconsequential overlay. They added a $5 6-max at 9:30 AM, but it only had one registered player.

Less and less of a reason for me to play on B/PP, except that I have tickets which need to get used.

You will sell out every night guys. It's good for the site and the players. Take it, use it, it's free.

Edit Make the 11:00 a $20 + $5 for KO +
