Connectivity Issues Since Update Connectivity Issues Since Update

Hi,

Has anyone else had trouble staying connected since downloading the last update?

Thanks!

Yes, its borderline unusable since the update. I emailed support.

Glad I'm not the only one. They told me they haven't received any complaints...Something tells me reinstalling will just be a huge hassle and won't fix anything either.

Thank you for contacting Customer Service.

We are sorry for the inconvenience you have experienced.

However, please have in mind we have not received any complaints about technical issues after the last update on the application.

We would advise you to uninstall the current application on your device, delete all remaining nj.partypoker.com folders but make sure you save your notes on a different place before that, and then re-install the software afresh from the website.

If the issue persists after you re-install the application, please get back to us with more details on what exactly happens and if you get any error messages, please provide a screenshot of it for further investigation.

In case you have further questions, we will be more than happy to assist you. We are available 24/7.

Thank you for choosing us as your online gaming site.

Best regards,

Nikolay,

Customer Service

Thanks, they didn't respond to me yet. I noticed a number of people at the tables timing out and there were a few people complaining in chat when I played. Prior to the update I almost never had an issues.

Funny I just got off the phone with support. Been having issues with geo-location connectivity the past couple days since the update as well. I started by telling them that and of course their answer was" no it cant be a software related issue". They escalated the issue but asked me to take a screenshot of my available wifi connections, as if I was lying about the fact that nothing has changed on my side since the update.

I took the plunge and tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Haven't played for that long but it seems to be at least a little bit better.

Hi,

I have had connectivity issues with pokerstars.com (not nj) as well a couple of times the last days. I was playing husng and lost a couple of buyins.

From the screenshot it's obviously PS's fault:

- i have good connectivity to a some of their datacenters
- i can ping pokerstars.com without packet loss ( 77.87.181.63 )

Why don't they provide some failover mechanism in case one site is unreachable? This is awful.

I've also had problems since the update. I've been doing ping tests trying to figure it out. I'm getting timeouts while the app is open but when I close it I get none. It's a small sample.

I wondered if it was caused by the software update. Now that I see this post in the forum it looks like it might be the cause.

I had virtually no issues for 2y until the software update and now it disconnects/freezes all the time. I've reinstalled and double checked everything relating to my wifi/internet but no joy.

Are you all still experiencing issues? We are aware there were scattered reports of connectivity issues and follow ups have shown everything to stabilize in the hours after the update.

Thanks for your response.

It was somewhat better last night, but I am still having issues with the client occasionally freezing mid hand and then coming back with little to no time left on my clock. I am not having this issue on other poker clients and have not experienced this since the update.

Just to give another update, I played tonight and the lag was almost unbearable. Everything moves so slowly and I've come close to timing out so many times.
03-07-2017 , 01:01 AM
Yeh still getting geo location disconnects once about every 45 minutes. Sits me out for about ten minutes than it reconnects
03-07-2017 , 09:29 AM
Issue not resolved for me either.
03-07-2017 , 12:04 PM
It's still a big problem for me.

It is completely unplayable on both mac and PC for me.

Edit: Deleting and downloading again seems to have made my geo and lag issues disappear, at least over a sample of 5 minutes.

I tried doing this and it worked well at first but the last 2 nights I have still had terrible connectivity and geo location issues. Hopefully they can figure out what is causing this and get it fixed ASAP otherwise I don't know how I can risk playing.

We apologize for the issues you all have faced. Our teams are hard at work towards resolving as quick as possible.

I also keep getting the lag/time out several times per session
03-08-2017 , 06:07 PM
Back to being unplayable for me. Get Geo'd every few minutes, and when it lags it stops me from acting on other sites as well. Hence, not even opening this cancer site again until it's fixed.

I really can't play there during this problem. Just like nutshino, it makes playing on other sites almost impossible due to the lags it causes everywhere.

Thank you for the feedback everyone. I have provided our tech teams with the information so they can rectify this issue.

Thank you for listening to us and for relaying this to the tech team. Is there any time table on when we can expect the site to go back to normal?

Thanks again!

The disconnections experienced Tuesday night were due to an emergency ISP change that was out of our control. Services resumed shortly after and there should be no further changes in that aspect.

Thanks for your response, but that doesn't explain why so many of us still had these issues yesterday and last night.
