There's one thing that needs to be fixed because it tilts me to no end.

Every once in a while those tournament announcement popups will come up and then not disappear. As they fade out they get stuck at partial opacity and then just blink on and off incessantly with no way to turn them off. They stay like that for a few minutes until they finally go away but it is so annoying until they do.

You have to at least fix it so that the X control can still close the window even after it has started to fade.

Hi Party Rep,

It's EOD midweek and no updates yet. Even if it is postponed again, please at least lest us know so we can adjust our expectations. We know you read this thread....

This is a joke, got the MFC disconnection during the gsss event tonight, then logged back in and not more than 10mins later got kicked off for "not being in NJ". I was able to get back in but dont know what hands I missed.

This is why I dont ever play on Party/Borgata except for big events, but Im considering not even playing them anymore. I cant say enough how awful the software is.

Actually had several tournaments frozen at key / bubble moments. It greatly impacts the ability to play. The only reason I do not log daily complaints is that at least it does look like they are trying to fix this problem. Hopefully this fix gets put into production soon. I am sure this is frustrating for them to hear about as well as it is for us to deal with it.

Hi - as posted in the other thread - please see an update below regarding our MFC issues -

We continue to investigate the issue with MFC errors, and deployed two updates regarding this issue on Dec 16 and Dec 23 for both PartyPoker and Borgata platforms respectively. These updates addressed some known issues that were generating MFC errors for our players.

We understand that some customers may have experienced additional errors and we would like to ensure the community that we have a team working on finding the root cause of these issues - as a top priority.

We strive to have this resolved quickly and we will update you all once we have a fix ready.

We would like to ask players still experiencing MFC issues to continue to contact us and provide as much information as possible via PM to myself or email to the CS teams with subject line - MFC issues

For example -

1. Account Name
2. Date/time of issue
3. What were you doing when this happened e.g. did you receive a notification, how many tables were open, were you running any third party tool, how long into a game session were you?

This would really help our tech team in continued investigations and would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,

Colette

So were the first two posts blatant lies? Given Party's history, I was pretty sure nothing would be different on January 5 or January 12. I'm not surprised by this post at all.

I had the MFC crash yesterday and have had it happen every single session I play. It only happens to me when those tournament announcements come up. I hold my breath every single time I see those stupid tournament announcements for fear that it's going to cost me a lot of money.

I don't care about tournaments and the announcements are never going to cause me to play one. Give me the option to disable the announcements and this problem will likely go away.

Not directly related to the Tournament announcements tho they dont help and should be disabled with the same priority.

http://www.onlinepokerreport.com/150...ftware-issues/

Article on specifics on the issue.

I would recommend anyone having the crash to take a screen shot of a hand that you have invested money in and send a message to support asking for the money invested into the hand to be funded per their terms of service. I have been refunded twice now for hands.
01-16-2015 , 12:15 PM
So that article confirms no patch or anything will happen until after the GSSS, if at all.

LOL, good work Party. I can only imagine that the disconnects have turned off a ton of recs from playing. How can anyone have any confidence playing here?

Its one thing to refund someone in a cash game, but how do you refund equity lost in a tournament when you disconnect either in a big hand or just simply miss 4 or 5 hands? Im not a tournament player but I do play the big series when theyre running. Ive had tons of success in both the gsss series, and yet I still cant get over the fact that the software just isnt stable enough to play on. I probably wont play any more events, with the exception of maybe the Main, which is a shame bc the series schedule itself is the best in NJ.

Btw, Colette this isnt directed at you.

/rant.

And for the sixth night in a row. This time the Party client. No need to spend time with CS.

GSSS#10 Fixed Limit. 27 minutes. MFC strikes. Freeze and boot. Happened when the first advertising of another tournament appeared. Froze almost immediately.

Ads have been mentioned as a source of the problem by more than one player.

Will only play this tournament tonight.

Its a miracle
01-20-2015 , 01:01 PM
Is it confirmed to be true though? It crashed on me last night.

Not sure I play my session tonight to test it out. Time stamp of the email said 8:30am.
01-20-2015 , 07:58 PM
Seemed ok for a while, then I just got the MFC error.
01-20-2015 , 10:20 PM
Anyone else try reinstalling?
01-20-2015 , 11:13 PM
Reinstalled and everything.

Crashed first 15 minutes of the session... Can we sue for false advertising?

I forget if this was addressed or not but this happens to me frequently too. I don't know if this is related to the MFC crashes others are talking about. I'm thinking their not. I think the MFC crasses are later on when all the dialog boxes come up and the graphics go crazy.

I get this a lot. I log in. Load up some cash tables and then poof. Party client just disappears. No warning no nothing. It doesn't detect the crash either. I have to restart the software myself and the crash screen doesn't come up.

I've attached a profiler to the client and monitored what's going on and it seems the software is crashing because there's too much rake.

Spoiler:
Ok that last line is but seriously damn that rake.

It was a lie no update was given i have emailed them. I can't believe it tbh. There was no update btw. Uninstalling the client and reinstalling shouldnt of been needed as an update/fix would of given an update anyway. Support straight lied to everyone. I logged in and as soon as i opened my first table had an error crash. Had 3 during play tonight. This leaves a really bad taste in my mouth. Further more collete the rep for this thread reached out to me and we discussed a time today for a tech support team member to speak with me about talking about the issue to make sure they "Get it right" no one ever contacted me. I feel like im working at a carnival.

There is some hope.

I too got the message from the Party_Rep. I spoke to a few people today who were go betweens and I am sharing my computer and some crash logs with them tomorrow. I will update if anything material comes out of this.

Don't know why customer service said a fix was already deployed, but as I understand it they are catching up with the final strings between this week and next.

I do apologize, this was not an oversight on my behalf - all the relevant information was passed on to the team in NJ. I am trying to find out why this happened and will feedback via PM. Thanks.

Tonight I have been getting tons of connection lags where my screen will freeze, it will say "Establishing Connection" and then the action will resume. But I miss action in the mean time. It has not completely disconnected yet. And closing and restarting the client has not made this problem go away.

This may be related or unrelated to the MFC issues.

Is anybody else experiencing these lag / disconnection issues?

I was about to post something similar. I play on a MacBook Pro and I have never had an issue the past few months, until now. All my games were lagging and their where moments the software sat me out and just froze. Good thing I had my phone next to me to log in on that and play using that instead. The lag lasted long especially when the announcements popped up. I can't afford to play like that. I don't know what they changed, if their mac servers are having issues, but this is the first time I have had an issue like others have shared.

This makes me feel its more likely a completely separate issue, and not at all related to the MFC errors. They could be having server problems, or it could be a DDOS attack on their systems.

I was thinking it was an attack on their system. Grrrr was running good, and now I have to stop.

Different servers are required to play poker on the site. Not all of them are local. I think the authentication servers aren't local and they had some network issues last week.

Network issues are a frequent problem.
