Today I received a message back from a Party Poker Customer Support Representative in regards to the Verizon FIOS connectivity issues I and many others have been having. The rep sounded like they were actually trying to figure out the problem, and requested certain information. Instead of freaking out, whining, telling them how horrible they and their product are, I responded accordingly with the information they asked for. Positivity breeds positivity, negativity breeds negativity. Inaction results in nothing, actions results of reaction. I believe in effective, productive communication to resolve issues. Below is the e-mail sent to me from Party Poker...
Below is the trace report I ran, which is interesting because all the *** represent request timeouts. All occur after leaving the Verizon Gateway...like I have been saying all along not on Verizon's side.
Finally, I sent them the ping request which is just hilarious because look at the Request Time Out issue...
If anyone wanted proof that it is not on Verizon's side and is on Borgota/Party Poker's side here it is. So here is my hand Party Poker (I'm all in, Party Poker calls), time for you to be honest and show yours...You going to Muck it up?
By the way in the original e-mail Party Poker sent me they explained how to do the process for Windows users. I am a Mac user and thank God that I am computer savvy or I would not have been able to provide the info they requested. I let them know this in my follow up e-mail. If any other Mac users need help sending Party Poker the info and how to get the info, PM me. The process for Mac and Windows users is different. Thanks all.
