Yeah, they told me initially that it was my problem, but all the other sites run fine for me without crashing or geolocation issues. Apparently their geolocation system requires each player to have 3 different wireless networks close by, or something, but WSOP never disconnects me or crashes. I'm curious about windows 8 too

Party_Rep, one change we would all love: please inform Support via a daily memo / dashboard / whatever what the common problems are. It's unacceptable that users like Jaysu call up and are told its an isolated problem, especially after there are dozens of reports on the forums alone.

Today, the disconnection problems on Party have been worse than ever before for me.

As far as the Borgata skin, I cannot get it to launch even after several restarts and re-installs.

Seems like a server connection issue of some kind. Please help.

Yup. Today is the last day I can clear my $100 bonus and I can't even open the software. Crazy.

There is no policy regarding this at the moment, but they should create one: They should extend all deadlines for Reward levels / bonuses etc when they are having connection problems like these.

I don't normally play on PP but thought the new schedule looked good and was giving it a try. Reg'd for a $50 ticket satty. What a mistake. was folded out of about 5 of 7 first hands, then the table completely closed.

Closed everything and tried to reopen PP. Didn't work.

Rebooted and tried again. After about 10 tried it finally opened, but I gave up and emailed support for a refund.

I give up.

Good luck with that. I drove 90 minutes each way to deposit at the Borgata cage so I could move up from NL10 to a limit where I could actually clear the bonus. The Borgata cage screwed up and put the money in my PartyPoker account rather than my BorgataPoker, despite me writing down the proper username on a piece of paper at the cashier (and the two names being not at all similar).

I called and asked them to move the money to the proper account. Can't do it.
I called and asked if that was the case, could you please extend my bonus. Nope.
I responded with a very angry email, and they offered me a bonus to match my deposit. Very nice, but this was my first deposit, and I believe they only offered it to me because that is their standard first deposit bonus. Which I assume I would have been screwed out of had I not sent this angry email.

This is clearly unacceptable. Sorry to hear you have to put up with all of this. Party_Rep, please make this right.

Getting the same issue, it's worse than usual. There was an update installed yesterday after the first crash, and then it became unplayable

Mine stopped crashing a week ago, at least for now.

Even though it is a pain, I recommend you do an uninstall / reinstall. I am guessing that something in the last batch made the program a little more stable, but it's just a guess. Worth a try anyway since so many people with this problem have finally gotten some relief.

Can we just institute a disconnect protection like on pokerstars so we have 1-2 mins to reopen software once it crashes? It would be an easily implement able hotfox while party works on solving the underlying issue.

We had mailed instructions for forwarding specific logs to certain users who were facing frequent software crashes. We request TO1 and other players facing similar crash issues to PM us your account names so that we can initiate the correspondence necessary to resolve the issue.

Kind regards,

Please forgive me, but can you explain this further? Does this mean every user would get a grace period of 1-2 minutes if they are disconnected? Just want to make sure I understand. While this would make one problem a little more bearable it would make another one worse, by potentially slowing down these games even further.

after reinstallation I still have the problem. I have the disc problems since I started playing Party in 2007!!! It is kind of ridiculous for such a big company.

seems like the same issues the off shore sites have been experiencing lately
DOS/DDOS attacks on the Merge, Winning networks.....also Bovada......

are these issues related ?

They very well could be related, but I hope they are not.

Because if this is the result of those attacks, there is no way to stop it and almost no countermeasures we can employ as users.

Hi Party rep, it has been a few days after I PMed you with all my info but no response. At this point my software skill crash on a daily basis and I've given up hope. Likely to just play on WSOP after my bonus runs out, even though I like Party so much better.

Yes exactly. Some sites have disconnect protection for ~60s after you DC. It functions same as a timebank but for disconnects.

I've also never been able to set up my auto time bank for DCs ( couldn't find option to auto timebank). So even though I reconnect within 10 seconds, half my tables would have sat out already.

I have the same issue. Even if I reconnect immediately after the crash, a lot of my tables are sitting out already, sometimes I can't see the cards of the ones I am still in, other times I can put money in, then am autofolded afterwards. Really no rhyme or reason, though it would all be solved if you could stabilize the software....

Hi

I believe the previous Party _Rep may have picked up this - can you please PM myself your details and I will have a detailed mail sent to you from our NJ team to help resolve your issues.

Sorry for the inconvenience
