Hi is there a $500 limit on first cashout at the cage? I know this is the rule for other sites, not sure if it's the same for here as well.

Never even heard of this rule. And I have cashed out more than this, but it was a while ago. Which sites have this rule?

I am 90% sure there is no restriction as I didn't run into that problem (whereas I did run into it the first time I tried to cash out WSOP/888). That being said, I can't say for sure that I didn't cash out <$500 the first time (I can't remember). I do know I withdrew >1K today and it cleared right away, and I've had no issue with getting 4 figs from the cage in the past. Hope that helps.

My first cashout was over $500 at Borgota and I have consistently done larger since.

My first 888 cashout was limited to $500.

I have cashed out $4999 several times. Short of 5k because there is a clause in the terms of service that a player will not request a withdrawal of over 5k. Not sure if they are enforcing this or w/e, figured I'd air on the side of caution. But yeah anything under 5k you're fine.
