So I've been playing on the nj site since just about day one 3 years ago. I've been back and forth between them and a couple of the others, and have both won, and lost on basically all of them. I've had my good points and bad with all of them, and to be honest, many of them at times have felt somewhat illegitimate, in the way the cards have come out. I've chalked it up to bad beats, but in its always been in my mind, that given the way some of those "beats" have just felt incredibly set up. And this is on every site, over many many hands, not just a couple times playing.
Mostly though, I have remained extremely loyal to Party. Although I've had plenty of gripes with lots of stuff, like their complete lack of bonuses, and the ones they do give are for casino, and i don't play casino games. When I've called and actually requested a bonus from time to time, once it was actually done, and every time since I've been told "it's random, and there's nothing we can do about it", and good luck requesting being able to speak to any type of supervisor, on any matter ever... other than that, I've had an overall DECENT experience, and the fact that they've linked up with discover, made withdrawals much easier.
Until this week. I made a deposit this past Friday Nov 25th, and played, for the next couple days, placed and won a couple tournaments, and won some cash games. Things were going pretty well, better than usual even. I wss making some ok sized withdrawals, built nothing to scoff at. Suddenly on Wednesday night, Dec 30th, I went to log on, to play, and suddenly received a message that I was locked out, and needed to contact customer service. Upon doing so, I was advised I had to send a "self certified ID", which is a picture of myself holding my ID.... lol.... I had no idea what this was about, but since my money is being held hostage, I figured just comply. So I sent that, and within an hour or so I was allowed back in.
Had the story ended there, i would've never thought much of it. But it didn't. I continued to play that night, i maybe lost 50 bucks, and called it a night... Upon returning to play the following afternoon, and attempting to log in, i was once again denied, with the same message. I checked my email only to find a message from support, advising me that they allowed me back in too soon, and that an investigation was being conducted...
It's now Saturday, and after numerous complaints, via email, and telephone, i am still locked out, with no further details as to why. I have called multiple times, and requested to talk to some kind of supervisor, but as i started earlier, that seems to be absolutely impossible with this company. Instead what i get, is seemingly incompetent people, who are based on Bulgaria, who i can hardly understand, coping complete attitudes, telling me no supervisor is available, and i will get word when i do, other than that i just have to wait. This is disgusting. I've been wanting to go on some forums and complain about the state of online poker in New Jersey for a while now, and this has finally given me a reason. I have already contacted management at the Borgatta, and have logged a complaint with the DGC. Short of that I am at a loss as to what to do. They won't even allow me in to access my money to withdraw what's left, at least then I'd feel a little more comfortable, and they could do whatever they need to do. But to lock a person out of their account, with little explanation, and not allow them to even withdraw their finds, and not even allowing them to speak to a supervisor, is just disgusting...
