I am doing the reload bonus for $300 at borgata. i played all day yesterday .25/50, about 6-8 hours. It says that I am 2.7% towards getting the bonus.

Is it basically impossible to get the bonus? It was a snow day yesterday.

Any recommendations what I could play to more quickly get the bonus $$

How many days do you have to clear the bonus?

To clear each $30 bonus slab you need to generate $120 in rake. The only way to clear it faster is to generate more rake, i.e. higher stakes or more tables.

Thanks donnie. That puts it into perspective. I did not calculate how much Rake is needed. I played more poker yesterday than since we started online. I did not think it would be so hard to just get the first $30 slab.

But something sounds off. Did you multitable or just 1 table?

2.7% of $30 bonus means that you raked only $3.24 the whole 6-8 hours. This either means that you are a complete rock that played in less than 5% of hands and never got it in with your money at all.

The percentage complete applies only to the current 10% chunk of the bonus you are currently clearing. So you have a $300 bonus that gets released in $30 chunks. Say you cleared $150 of it already but you are only 2.7% of the way to clearing the next $30, the percentage it tells you is 2.7% instead of ~51% or whatever it really is.

Does anyone know if you will lose the opportunity to clear the remaining bonus if you withdraw before clearing the entire bonus?

For example, say you deposit $100 and withdraw $100 the next day. Can you still clear the $100 bonus by playing with other funds in your account?

I withdrew a few days after depositing and my bonus is fine. I wouldn't make a habit of it, though.
