It appears that the software verification issue has been fixed. For the first time ever I was verified from my home this morning. I tried it several times on the desktop and on the laptop. 100% success.

I will change my location if it is still working when I get home this afternoon...one time!

what is ur mode of internet access from ur home? Broadband modem? cox cable? free wifi thru ur apt complex? or ???

i wish i could find at least one person having success with a verizon broadband modem, dax told me it shouldnt matter my modem was verizon as long as my phone is tmobile. he thought it was my location but its been so many days since ive talked to him, not sure what his opinion is now.

1. Didn't realize this was a 30 day trial for UP? From NYT:
"comments and observations would be gathered from users and Ultimate Poker during the 30-day trial. The board will decide whether the site should be allowed to continue operating and, two weeks after that, the Nevada Gaming Commission will make the final decision."
2. Do people think once the other 20 or so companies approved for Nevada gaming licenses start offering online poker it will drive the rake down? Increase the amount of incentives to players? Fracture the market and disperse the player pool?

I have a century link broadband router for TV and internet. Is there any other connection available? You are still in Jean right? I will send you a PM. I have an idea.

Still getting unable to verify Nevada location in Mesquite. Very frustrating

Dax, maybe you should ad the rakes to the FAQ.

Have to say, not even in that State, and still excited.

Although Ohio has nothing on the horizon, but still.

Blinds 75/150. UTG limps. Player 1 goes all in for 265. Player 2 calls and is all in for 250 total. BB calls and UTG raises and makes it an additional 500. Can someone explain how UTG has action here?!?
If someone's all-in is at least half the amount of a legal raise, it reopens the action. So in this example, as the BB was 150, any all-in of 225 or more (150+75) would constitute a raise and reopen action. Player 1 went all in for 265, so UTG gets an option to re-raise.

Of course this will fall on deaf ears, but a hud doesn't inherently make someone a better player (if it did, many of you would support them). In many cases, it makes them worse because they misinterpret the data and make new errors. The stat, "bet vs missed turn CB OOP" is meaningless without understanding how to apply the math.

Whether HUDs should be banned is a valid topic for discussion, though probably not appropriate to this thread. Banning managers that help you track your own play, your wins/losses, etc. is ridiculous.

We finally got all the kinks worked out and I have all green status! I also just found a location that works in LV for the triangulation that I can permanently leave a phone at. Walking to the Wild West deposit some cash right now. The games just got a bit tougher.

HELL YES!!!

Hey Dax or Scotty does the $1000 nightly have a tournament cap also?
200 for now

The rake is defined below for each game we host:

No Limit Rake: 4.5%
All number of players refer to the number of players dealt into the hand, not the number seated at the table

Stakes % Rake 2 Player Cap 3-4 Player Cap 5+ Player Cap
$0.01/$0.02 4.50% $0.30 $0.30 $0.30
$0.05/$0.10 4.50% $0.50 $1.00 $1.50

$0.25/$0.50 4.50% $0.50 $1.50 $3.00
$0.50/$1 to $3/$6 4.50% $0.50 $1.50 $3.00
$5/$10 4.50% $0.50 $1.50 $3.00

NOTE: Ultimate Poker does not charge rake if a hand ends on the first betting round (before the flop).

Fixed Limit Rake: 4%

Stakes 2 Player Cap 3-4 Player Cap 5+ Player Cap
$0.05/$0.10 $0.04 $0.04 $0.05
$0.10./$0.20 $0.10 $0.10 $0.10
$0.25/$0.50 $0.15 $0.15 $0.15
$0.50/$1 $0.40 $0.40 $0.40
$1/$2 $0.50 $0.70 $0.80
$2/$4 $0.50 $0.70 $1.20
$5/$10 $0.50 $2.00 $3.00
$10/$20 $0.50 $2.00 $3.00
I'm still a little confused. What is the max rake then in 1/2 NL or say 2/4 Limit?

Trying to use my hotspot now as test, is there a software update when logging in? It says updating your software.
Don't know if its because of my Internet connection because update taking awhile.

I can log in no problem on this wifi I'm on but now when I try my iphone hotspot as test it just keeps saying "connected, now updating your software, loading...
I figured I would be able to use hotspot since you disabled IP location.

Just wondering how it is legal for the state of Nevada to declare that if you live less than one mile from the Arizona border (like some places in Laughlin) you cannot play on the site. If I lived down there I would be pissed.

Outstanding, so I will never be able to play online poker in Nevada. What a Joke.
05-06-2013 , 02:27 PM
If you're not "in nevada" you can't play. Not sure why people are pissed. If your address is in Arizona then you don't live in nv lol
