Try to write a few million lines of code and rush your launch so you can be first to market and tell me you don't have a few problems. UP's launch thus far has been remarkably smooth, from a technical standpoint.

I would play a lot of these LHE HUSNGs in the $10-$20 range. Since BF I do not think and US facing site has spread them over $20 so I do not know what the success would be over that limit but there could be some traffic at $20 and below for sure. They seem popular enough up to that point and maybe a $30 and $50 price point too.

It's not just software glitches. It's questionable whether you should launch your site before getting the biggest cell carrier in Nevada to sign off on your verification system.

Comeon now! They have this under control. They assured us of that. And I'm sure the Nevada GCB made sure they were good to go.

You're right, of course. I mean, it's not like online poker within Nevada has been in the works for more than a year, right? It's not like they (whoever 'they' are) acquired Cyberarts, and its online poker program, in 2011 and were trying to release the freeplay version of UP in 2012 or anything.

$10,000 Sundays cancelled with 93 players, we were going to sell out hours before the start.

We understand what happen just trying to figure out how to correct the issue.

I have to...

Why were you so sure of a sell out hours before start?

wsop.com is almost surely going to use the exact same method of locating players, they are both going to be licensed in nevada after all.

I would guess that simple things like waiting lists and table resizing along with a dozen other things will be in place upon launch tho.

I had the same issue. After doing a bit of diagnostics with my startup programs, I've found that for me it was being caused by the Noise Canceling Program by Realtek. This file: C:\Program Files\Realtek\Audio\HDA\vncutil64.exe
That's totally not a remote access program (just named like one). So, it seems that one of the ways that they detect for them will throw up the odd false positive.

If you need to check your own, you can temporarily remove programs from startup in msconfg (Start Menu -> Run -> msconfig). Go to the startup tab. Firstly, disable all of the program, restart and see if it fixes it.
If so, you can find what it is by doing a binary search: Select half the programs, restart, see if the software starts. If not, it was in the half you selected. If it does start it's in the half you didn't select. Continue until you've narrowed it down to the single one (even with 64 programs, this should only take 6 restarts) and hope that it's not essential to the running of your system!

Send email a support with the exact time it happened (as best as you can).

Ta-da!

We're aware of the issue (the best place for live updates, by the way, is @UltimatePoker on twitter). The tournament should reappear in the lobby shortly.

Haven't had a chance to get to PMs yet - have several. If you have anything urgent, though, your best bet is always to talk to playercare@ultimatepoker.com.

The client keeps telling me my account # is invalid before I even click submit. No 13digit accts??

I see the tourney is back up. The problem that I have is that when I am in the main lobby, and I try switching between the various tabs: Ring Games, Sit And Go, Tournaments, I get a (Not Responding) error and the switch takes about 1 minute. I tried watching one of the games in progress, and had a similar problem.

I didn't see this in the FAQ.

How did you handle this?

I mean, when the tournament was "canceled", did they automatically receive a refund of their buy-in, or was their buy-in never credited back to their account?
05-05-2013 , 06:46 PM
When I was playing the cash table yesterday and suddenly lobby and all games disapeared and I quickly logged back on and saw I had lost my seat at all tables.

So what happens if this happens while playing a tournament?
Will I not only lose the hand I'm Involved in but not even have a seat when I return?
