I was real surprised to eat at the GVR buffet yesterday (29) and discover the placemat saying Ultimate Poker is open for business.

When you say 'and next, the world' do you mean that you will make it avaiable for euros to play with Americans or just eventually let the Euros play with themselves.

I can't really provide ETAs on things like that (competitive advantage and all that), unfortunately. What I can tell you is that we're busting our butts to bring more and more to you. I'm working on the version that will release in a couple months (and the one after that).

Not sure on the player pool thing. After all is said and done, it's really a guess - how many people are ready, how much money goes into marketing, how well our software performs, how good the games are, how competitive the rake structure is, how many people tell their friends and/or tweet about us .. and so on. So... Tell your friends.

I don't know the answer to this, unfortunately. I'd think that you'd want a SIM card while down here anyway to avoid all the roaming charges by the local networks.

They do, yes. We pay them a licensing fee and a portion of our total rake. The actual amount is pretty complicated to figure out (I mean, come on, it's tax code, right?). Have a go at it, if you'd like:

That being said, we don't "pass the tax" on to you. We think our rake structure is pretty good and fair, and we're happy to be paying our taxes here so people can have peace of mind. No more Western Unions to Nicaragua.

"Shared Liquidity" is the phrase in question, and obviously (as a poker player) I'd like to have shared liquidity with the world, but I don't know the answer to that at this point, sorry.

Whoa, online poker with a half decent rake and easy to deposit/withdrawal action.

Daxonovitch even seems like a reasonable guy who likes poker.

Now this just needs to get outside of Nevada and I can go grind for the dream.

Looking at the rake table it shows up to 5/10 nl and 10/20 limit. Does that mean those will be the highest stakes offered? If so and 5/10 is the biggest NL game, 10/20 limit is not comparable to that... Should definitely at the least offer a 20/40 limit game.

Couple questions

1) Do you allow P2P xfers?

2) Do you have play money games and if so can people not in nv play for for play money?

Excited to play on my upcoming trip to NV.

Thanks for the reply. lol, yeah taxation is never simple

I think being the first to market will be a huge advantage to you and will certainly get you a lot of free publicity.

Good luck with it

Is there a sign up or deposit bonus?
04-30-2013 , 11:07 AM
Hi, I just signed up and need to send a scanned copy of my ID in, I was hoping I could bypass this by going to a station casino and presenting it while I deposit.

Since you can deposit via station casinos, do you intend to work with them in any other ways? (rewarding players, exchanging player points for comps, or allowing comps to convert to online funds, etc.)

Do you intend on marketing in these casinos? It would be a really great thing to have a bunch of casino regs know that they can make all their transactions live and have the luxury to go home and play legally.
