I made that as an answer to someone who stated BCP was a better option when bovada has overtaken them..Having said that, I am going to vegas next thursday and plan to stay 2-3 weeks and pretty much live there. I plan on playing UP and maybe some of the new sites for as long a i possibly can, even with the issues they have now. I can only assume they will evaporate over time. I would 100% vouch for bovada IF you live a long way from vegas and you cant afford to live there/visit frequently. if you love poker though and can win at it, I would encourage anyone to move there ASAP. I live in Wisconsin and am going to spend at least 7-8 months a year in vegas from this week on

Thanks
around 200.
I would expect it to be around 400-600 this weekend with the weekend crowd
anyone in vegas knows they get anywhere from 150,000 to 300,000
visitors on the weekend, or about triple what is there on a tuesday.the site should be rocking tomorrow and Saturday nite.
it should mushroom in the next 2 weeks

72 hours is unacceptable. I'm a tourist in Vegas for 5 days and I play poker on the UP site. The day before I am to fly home I cashout and choose the cash option from a Station casino. I go to the casino to get my cash and they tell me I have to wait 3 ****ing days? Please tell me this is wrong. Cash should be instant. Anything else is unacceptable.
I have to agree with ChoakMyDee here. Cashing out via a Station Casinos cage should be immediate and paid in full, in cash. If it takes anything longer than 1 hour....that would take away half the reason for me to play on U.P. as a Las Vegas resident. : (

Scott, it was my understanding that you'd be able to get money instantly from the cage? That's not the case? Why would it take 72 hours?

I would love to try the cage cashout, but they first need to let me play - as for some reason, they cant locate my ATT phone. This is crazy....

As with any site, we need to make sure the funds aren't from fraudulent sources, haven't been won by colluding or otherwise cheating, and so on. Just like every other site to an extent, we do this to protect our customers.

That being said, though, we have some pretty slick tools behind the scenes to see this stuff. We're generally hoping it won't take too long to get your cashout. Once you get approved on our end, you get an email automatically and can grab your money from any Station Casino cage.

If someone's just visiting Nevada, we'll do everything in our power to get their money off the site before they leave.

Generally, if someone wins a tournament, the funds are pretty easy to verify. I don't want to make Terrence's life hell by overpromising, but we should be able to process these cashouts pretty quickly.

huh, what happened to the best thing about this is you can go to any station casino and cash out instantly..
what is this 72 hour thing.
not trying to be a whiner like all the others but this ISNT what I have been reading all along. I thought the premise was if you win, you have the luxury of instantly cashing out

Yeah major bummer.

I would think that if you deposited at the cage with cash, the cash out should be approved quite quickly.

Attempting quick transfer with checking info...my account number is 13 digits, the software only accepts 10 digits or else says invalid number. Any solution for this?

This is pretty standard for any site. What we offer is that once this process has been done, your money is available right away. You're not really going to be able to bypass that time.

In general, though, most cashouts are pretty easy to figure out. If someone's deposited with cash, and wants to cash out less (no one HERE though, right? ), people who win tournaments (there we go), and so on - that kind of review is pretty quick.

Once your cashout is approved, you get *cash*. Not an ACH that takes some time to hit your account, or a mailed check that takes time to get to you *and* time to cash. And like I said, you can get it taken out of the cage in $1 bills.

Obviously there is a plan in the future for UP to share its players between different states. Is there a possibility for UP to share its players w/in Nevada with other players on different platforms that are also in Nevada? (i.e. players of UP playing against players on a Caesars platform?)

I'll take a look into this. I'm not familiar with the other account number lengths, so I'll pass it on to the software team.

Unfortunately, in the interim, you'll probably need to use another deposit method.

We're aware of this issue and working to fix.

I think a common sense answer is IF there is to be a 72 hour hold on cashouts, it is only for large amounts. lets say I deposited $1000 on Wednesday and wanted to cash out
$200-$300 on Friday or Saturday. that should be instant, no questions asked. now if you won $5000 in a big tourney and wanted cash, I can see their point..until they figure the system out, you would maybe have to wait up to 72 hours or take a check. another topic is the check,
why would it take 7-10 days. they should be able to fed ex it for under $30
in 2-3 business days

If your bank account number has leading zeros, leave them off. Mine is 13 digits in length, but has 3 leading zeros. Leaving them off is the only way I can pay bills online at NV Energy, etc.
05-02-2013 , 05:34 PM
Anyone cash out yet? Do I get a check or do they give me cash?

$1,000 Echeck deposit on Monday player wins $2,000

Tuesday player requests $1500 cage cashout - Ultimate Poker doesn't even have the original $1,000 deposit

Example of why we may need to delay a cashout

Most players that requested a check cashout on Wednesday (May 1st) are going to have their the checks within 48 hours for people living in Las Vegas. We say 7-14 days to cover all the things that can come up regarding a cashout.

I have no problem with 72 hours... especially if it is to verify that there was no collusion involved. Lets face it, one of the biggest problems with online poker is the potential for collusion. I would much rather wait a day or two for my money and know the site is making sure there is no collusion going on.'

What the site needs to realize is people are a little jumpy when it comes to getting their money since we still have money stuck (over TWO YEARS now) on FTP.

oh one last question.
its my brother and I flying in.
do we have to buy TWO throwaway phones or can we both use one if we are both staying at the same hotel and just playing online there in the room

Tried leaving first 3 and also last 3, unsuccessfully. Im just being inpatient since my vehicle isnt here at the moment. Cash at the cage is simple enough.
