Sorry if this has been posted already-- are there plans to add stakes higher than 3/6NL? When?

I've read the entire thread. There's a lot to keep track of, and when I first asked it, Dax responded to my other question and left the stakes and maximum deposit limit questions alone, which I took as he wasn't sure the answer. I was asking again, in the event it was an oversight due to him having to field so many questions in such a short time.

This might be a crazy thought, but with so many readers here, collectively, we all have the answers to the most common questions that have already been addressed by the site. Now if people wouldn't mind answering a question without having to yap about reading the thread etc., we could actually move this along.

Online poker software has been around for 10 years. How do they not have player notes, re-sizable tables, or bot detection software that doesn't force you to time out?

Software is a big headache and in the stone ages compared to the industry leaders. Nice its legal for those of us in Nevada. 50bb stacks are annoying and games seem to be reg heavy at this point. Hope things get better and Station starts offering signup bonuses, rakeback, and more marketing.

How are there regulars at a site that has been open for 1 day?

We're hoping to get Verizon (you guys can help us by calling Verizon and escalating it up their support chain - it's actually a "them" thing).

Professionalpoker also suggested an Android and/or iPhone app to geolocate. I'm not entirely opposed, but that requires some development work (and would take at least a few months).
I'm happy enough to just run out and buy a cheap-ass phone that works for location purposes, but unfortunately, me and Verizon have this lock-in deal whereby I have agreed to keep paying them $$$ a month for the next 16 months in order to pay off my $$$ iPhone 5.

Just need to know options.

Like having a list of workable cheap-ass phones would be groovy.

Anonymous names generated every hand in the Zoom format. That would be best for the site. Sound good?

Has anyone gotten the location to work with a Sprint HTC One? I can't even receive the text that is supposed to be sent to verify my phone.

I can also vouch for the triangulation on login. Turned phone off and logged into UP account and it said location not verified. Turned phone on and logged into UP account...location verified.

After changing your phone number in UP, you should receive an SMS to which you will reply YES, then you will receive another message (received second message within a minute or so) that confirms you are ready to play.

If you are already logged into UP when this happens, you will need to log out, then back in again as the location check occurs upon login.

Can Dax please list what cheap AT@T prepaid Walmart/Target phones will work! I don't mind spending 30-50 bucks for one of these as long as I can get on the site.

The Samsung T-mobile T189 at Walmart worked for me. Was the cheapest one they had at $20.

FFFFFFyou Verizon. Get your crap together so we can play.

Is that all required to get a prepaid? No activation fee, contract etc?
05-01-2013 , 03:00 PM
alright this is BS, so people with Iphone 4s can't play? umm Why? Why doesn't dax address this more or give a clear answer on it? Can someone start a thread to why and what certain phones aren't receiving the confirmation from Ultimate Poker. Just want some answers thanks

As far as improving the software... instead of listing item by item what should be done, I think the simplest suggestion is just go look at Full Tilt's software and try to duplicate it as closely as possible.

Hmm, R U sure? Loads of people do apps like this..for example

https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ndroid.c&hl=en

I suspect if you talked to them they could do a stripped down version of their app with some added hack security stuff in less than months.

They should have just bought FTP's software when it was defunct instead of building from scratch.

It is funny how it sounds like only the ****tiest phones work for the location verification.
05-01-2013 , 03:15 PM
SOOO I'm in Nevada, my age and ID is verified, I have Tmobile and an Iphone 4s but cause I have an iphone and not a f***ing flip phone I can't play?? Serious? And on top of that I am ready to walk up to any stations casino make a 500 deposit and get started, I should be able to verify there but nope that's not going to work. This is correct right?
05-01-2013 , 03:18 PM
My husband signed up yesterday. He went to the closest Station Casino and made a deposit. We both played yesterday, and again today, for quite a while. Neither of us was able to drag a single chip. Anyone else have the same experience?
