Use Firefox, or save as, THEN run it.

I'd strongly suggest they don't implement this until the player base is very strong if ever. HU cash games are probably a net loser for a site if you consider that 1 player is often a shark and withdraws money only. While the other is often a recreational and will lose too quickly so he's less likely to redeposit and the site doesn't rake too much during his brief stint at the table.

The only scenario that HU cash games are good for the site is if the recreational player opposes all other forms of poker and will only play HU cash. The vast majority of recreationals would be content playing other forms imo.

We'll use your cell phone (and IP address) to locate you. You must have AT&T, Sprint, or TMobile.

Possibly, but these games can be pretty bad for newer players, and there's a lot of software features that we'd need to make sure we have so HU pros don't spawn a million tables and "camp" at them all. I don't know if any of you remember the bickering that used to occur between them at FTP when they only spawned a handful of HU cash games. People would sit at them (all) for months at a time to prevent others from sitting in.

I was told not at this time. If you want to play HU cash you can do it on a 6max table, but no HU cash tables are immediately planned. This was according to Terrance.

But I will stop posting like I'm some sort of CS agent. Sorry, just really excited and I have asked many of these questions earlier so I know most of the answers. GL at the tables.

Glad to see sketchy tarding up this thread, I might have to move to Vegas to bust him again

Apparently. All of the pop-ups from the software are opening in IE...don't know if there's any way to change that, but Chrome is my default browser.

I am still stuck in Iovation Hell after scanning my ID, etc. Last chance before I give up and wait for MGM/CET/South Point to come online.

If you win a tournament for 10,000 . How do they do the taxes?
04-30-2013 , 05:22 PM
I am also curious how the tax reporting will work. Will forms be submitted based on cashouts, or cashing in tournaments? In the past it was already very complicated, will the regulated sites simplify the procesS?

good idea. I'm sure their launches will go 100% without a hitch as does every other launch beside this one

Spoiler:

not

The site just opened today and people are asking a million questions about when their favorite game of choice will be added, huds, and other stuff?

Give them time but send them in quality recommendations as far as your feedback on the software, current rake, and so on.

If your phone battery dies while your playing on the site will you lose your connection? How long will you have to recharge your phone? Will a warning notice be given so you can recharge your phone in case u didn't realize your phone battery died?

True degens love heads up imo; lots of action, can play every hand, etc. I have a couple of friends that are "fish" and used to love heads up and would only play that back in the FT/Stars days.

This thread is pretty tilting. Our focus should be on the mere fact online poker is returning to the USA, not the X # of problems that anyone could have reasonably anticipated would happen with any new online poker start-up. Stop griping and focus on the fact that some of us can now play in the USA on a regulated site when that wasn't true yesterday.

We will not, do not, will not EVER have superuser accounts. We are completely unrelated to Ultimate Bet.

The people who even have access to the database is a fixed list of people, and it is very short. Even sensitive player information is hashed and hidden from our support staff, so they couldn't steal something like your SSN.
Thanks for this Dax. I was being trollish and joking but I'm glad to see you took it seriously...good response.

Amazing! I am so jealous of everyone in Nevada right now. This is definitely a day to remember. Congratulations to everyone who helped get this site up and running, and also to all the lucky players who are currently able to play regulated online poker in the USA!

As you can imagine, we're pretty busy today. WAY more than expected response, and customer support literally has every employee here working now.

PM me your email address and I'll see if I can wrangle your email up to the top.

Why no CC deposit option? How long should it take to get age/ID verification once you email proof? Going on 6 hours now...

First hand I witnessed. Games are good. Sheesh, games are good.
