If you can't handle the start-up phase, wait a year for better software and more competition. Then you can complain about the small player pool spread over 3-4 great sites and lack of fish.
If UP doesn't want feedback, they wouldn't solicit it. And, btw, I think weak-crack is a pretty good complaint from a crack addict. Probably the most constructive complaint a crack addict could have, if I was in the market for some crack.
Maybe we should all be cheerleaders, but sleep with the other team as soon as they show up? I'm sure the people over at UP would rather we praise the **** out of them and then leave them wondering why everyone is partying over at WSOP.com.
I've put a lot of volume in on UP since launch, and everyday I hate the software more.
I'm sure Scottyy realizes that we aren't attacking him personally. He's just the liaison. Consider what happens to him and all the other employees at UP though if nobody kicks the execs over there in the ass about this turd they gave birth to.
At this point, there probably isn't time to make the MAJOR upgrades they need to in order compete when WSOP.com launches.
Their only other hope is customer loyalty. Loyalty is the only reason I can think of that anyone would ever choose to play with UP's inferior software. So-- where is the loyalty program? That needs to be released ASAP-- not a week or two before the competition shows up.
Or perhaps UP really doesn't care about being competitive right now. They just want to be established and wait until they are able to leverage their UFC brand as marketing for the site worldwide. This is probably most likely-- and support threads and software improvement threads are just a waste of everyone's time.
That's my two cents. Maybe it's pointless. I'm just a petty whiner. Posting on forums is dumb, obv.
