You said you have an account there. They should place a hold on the check, but allow you to deposit it.

Yes they should, but they would not. That is the problem. I have never had this problem with a check before.

I did question the bank about why they could not just deposit the check and put a hold on it until they contacted UP. They said the problem was the check and that they had to talk to UP about it. They gave me the check and my deposit slip back. I am trying to resolve this matter with UP, but I wanted to know if this happened to anyone else.

I received my cash out via check from UP and deposited into my bank yesterday. Very happy with the cash out time of 1 week from req to CIH!! Thanks UP

The check I received didn't even say Ultimate Poker it said Ultimate Gaming. So how did the bank even get the name Ultimate Poker? I cashed mine at a diff bank and they didn't ask any questions. Sounds like your having an isolated issue to me!!

This is probably just the bank following bank procedures under the UIGEA, i.e. flagging a check internally related to online gambling I recommend opening a checking account with a local credit union for your online poker transactions at least until US poker sites are more universally recognized . The credit unions rarely question such transactions. Using an atm to deposit can help as well.

I made my withdraw request yesterday... it was IMMEDIATELY approved but is BEING PROCESSED. I am waiting to see how long it will take to process a withdraw of much more than just a few hundred dollars.

so far it's been 24 heuers.

I think you might be right. As of this morning, I still do not know why I was not able to deposit the check. However, UP has been in contact with me through phone and email, so I do hope that there will be a resolution soon. I am seriously considering using a credit union for future poker related transactions.

just went to the casino to get a patch (per the blog) the attendant in the poker room looked at me like I was insane - said all he has are a few business cards from UP. to try back in a couple of hours when the girl at the up table would be there. ran my errands went back played a few slots (got a little lucky) after 3 hours still no UP rep so I guess no patch. Is there a time when these will be available? how about hats or shirts?

Shirt & Hat are definitely high quality by Vegas/iPoker free swag standards, can't wait for a points store.

My hat is reversed, Ultimate Poker on the front & icon/button on the back.

Thanks again Scottyy, I really appreciate it. Advertising as much as possible for you guys, even wore the shirt/hat to my bowling league last night

thanks for responding, sunset station is my local station casino, went back & reread the blog now I see the patch distribution is only limited to 3 of the station casinos - maybe next week i'll head over to green valley.

how many are u going to be offering per day? is this a trial go, and if so for how long?

ATT Wifi at Starbucks on Vally View & Spring Mountain (next to the amazing Kuma Snow Creme!) shows an IP address in California, is this a common problem at Starbucks? Got rejected IP address here is 64.134.238.133

The Starbucks and McDonalds are about 50/50 just depending on the ISP for each location.

Here's a decent screen shot of the missing buttons bug. Sent one into support as well.



BTW - the client crashing during a long session is not a memory issue. I upgraded my memory and the client is still crashing ~5 hours into a session with loads of free memory available. Every other program continues to be stable while UP just shuts down.

Good question. I arrive Sunday afternoon for a two day trip. I'll be playing in as many tournaments as I can, so good to see another nightly coming on line.
