I'm just wondering about how things are going at Ultimate Poker so far, specifically:

1) How is the overall level of play?
2) What levels have the most people?
3) How regularly are tourneys running?
4) Has anyone had some consistent cash game success?

Please let me know if I should be posting this somewhere else. I did a search for Ultimate Poker and this is one of two major threads devoted to it. I guess I could make a new thread.

A new tourney was added but nobody that qualified is registered.

Checking the winners to see if they lost their entry, will email everyone once I figure out what's going on.

I guess they just like me.

I found out from Scott (who is clearly working his ass off and doing a great job imo) that the $1 credit is from the Tokens. I'm not sure why, but if you are a VIP and received an email recently about getting token(s) then this $1 credit is a remnant from that.

You guys need to cool it with the pop-ups until the software has been updated making it so they don't cover the cards during a hand. It's starting to get really tilting knowing someone is sitting behind a desk firing out obnoxious donkament announcements every 90 seconds that cover all flops across every table on the site, knowing what it's doing to the players trying to play a big pot on the turn/river.

Anybody can say anything they want about this site, positive or negative, but the fact is I just got my cashout processed in 14 minutes. Sorry but if that becomes the industry standard I think I can deal with it. This site rocks and I am happy to be aboard.

I traded my VIP token for the 10k$ MTT buyin

thanks scott, Id rather go for a flatter payout than a coin flip when it comes to rakeback.

Scotty my location is now unable to be verified...Ive talked with support over the phone 3 times now and yes we have tried everything under the sun...And I mean everything...So much I can't bother to type about 4 paragraphs of stuff...Only option is to buy a new prepaid phone for roughly $35...Not to mention it costed me $4.89 to run a GPS app on my current prepaid phone to try and get my location verification working...I had been playing all week with no issue until today.

I am open to being wrong here, but I do not think it will take gaming to approve Omaha or any other game. The UP software had this capability when it was operated by Gamesgrid in 2006, as was Stud, Stud8, Razz and 2-7 single draw so it will not take much more than the flick of a switch that expands games unless NGCB only approved HE.

Scotty, please let me know if I am wrong here. I am curious now as to whether non HE games are waiting on a comfort level by UP or NGCB approval.

Scotty scratch that, Magically on the next call to support our efforts to get me verified again worked! Thanks

In Nevada every bit of code is cleared by a third party testing company (GLI or BMM), this is very different from the process that say Full Tilt had to experience with their regulators in Alderney which wanted an accounting of the changes plus the software signature. So when UP (or any other company) adds a game, its not as easy as flicking a switch..... the red tape process is massive and slow, every component of that game must be documented and the code that was added to support the game must be reviewed. Sure, its likely that the code for the game already exists and it may or may not take much work to add that code to the approved code base - but the real wait is with the testing house and with Nevada Gaming. Nevada is a whole new frontier for online gaming, it is the most regulated market in the world that is currently operating (NJ may be even more regulated, hence the caveat) the positive is better protections for the player, the negative is a long wait for any changes and a mile of red tape for the poker rooms. I don't envy the staff at UP (or any competitors that will some day arrise), they have a very hard job to do!

You guys have to be desperate to play poker to put up with all this fracking ****e.
