You mentioned in this thread that you will eventually add the capability for players to use HUDS. I hope your team has had a long discussion about this and I am interested in how you think that this will actually be a good thing for the long term health of your site. I'm sure you are aware that player liquidity is crucial to the prosperity of any online poker site. We have seen many sites introduce controversial measures like "Fair Play Technology" because the recreational players are busted too quickly by the solid regs/grinders. Many things have been cited as the cause of this problem, and chief among them is the prevalence of HUDs.

There are plenty of threads where the issue has been debated and I'm sure you've read those threads. I'm just curious why at this early stage you have made the decision that HUDs will be a positive for the site.

We ask players to opt into triangulation when they sign up, but we check it randomly (when you log in, periodically while you play, more often based on where you are in the state, etc).

We make a pretty good effort at making sure people aren't tethering their laptop to a phone and driving out of the state. If you do that and get booted out at some random time, that's unfortunate (and clearly against both NV law and our rules).

What would you have them do? Delay the launch for another 3 months so they can spin up a version for the 6.5% of you who bought into apple's marketing scheme?

Greg Pierson was the originator of the cheating that occurred in ultimate bet. Basically he is making another huge payday along with PH if this is indeed true. I'm sick to my stomach right now

I think he didn't mean to deliver it with the lemon juice, but he's absolutely right. Our primary goal these last few months has been to deliver software to a regulated environment FIRST. And here we are. Yes, our software doesn't have everything we'd like it to, but we're here now and we're happy to be pitching cards.

All I can say is to keep your eyes on the software - it's going to change rapidly and [hopefully] become everything you and I both want it to be.
