YOU GOT IT

You sir win a prize for figuring out my whole post

Even nailed the Knish reference . If you are in Vegas send me a pm

I have a prize

Oh and YES I do need the money who does not? All those scumbag so called TV Pro players? That all of you worship. LOL

The same ones that stole all the money . Oh wait they did not know they would not do that . LMAO So yes I admit I need the money. I enjoy getting paid all the time as opposed to once a week or 2 weeks .

The same way day jobs get paid cash . But the 90% of you fools whom never take money off the table or site can hate . Your the ones making my life better.

I travelled to Las Vegas last week on vacation and I found out through billboards that the new site was up. Found this thread, read through it, and eventually went to the casino where I saw the billboard and deposited. Later on, when I started having trouble with the software, I made my first post requesting help. It was subsequently ignored.

I ended up requesting a cashout. It was stated in the thread that cashouts were processed multiple times throughout the day and that one of the big benefits of using their site was the ability to get your money immediately after a big win. My cashout was not as quick as they promised. I sent an email to their support address to get an update. Another attempted contact with their support ignored.

Finally, I did receive a confirmation email stating that my cashout was ready to be picked up at any cage. Their email specifically said it was "available right now" to be picked up at any Station cage. I was staying on strip, so took a cab to the closest cage (Wild Wild West). As with the quoted poster, the cage people were simply unable to give the cashout that was "available right now". They had no record of it. When I showed them my confirmation email, they looked at it in disbelief as their system was simply showing no record whatsoever. Apparently, Ultimate Poker does have an internal phone number to deal with support issues. When the cage supervisor at Wild Wild West tried dialing that number multiple times, Ultimate Poker simply couldn't be bothered to answer the phone. So, with the cage supervisor now involved, I ended up waiting 25-30 minutes, and was then sent on my way - emptyhanded with no money. He did hand me a rather funny business card. It was a card containing Ultimate Poker's contact information. On it, it said that an email sent to their support would be answered within 30 minutes or less.

So, I take the cab back to my hotel. I had the cab waiting the whole time, since I hadn't expected to wait 25-30 minutes for a simple cashout, so thanks to Ultimate Poker, I am now out a decent chunk for cab fare with nothing to show for it. Hours later, I get a call from the cage supervisor at the Wild Wild West (who I'd like to mention was extremely professional and helpful). He says my cashout is ready. I ask if Ultimate Poker gave any reason for what happened. Nope. They said nothing.

So, I paid a second cab fare, picked up my cashout, and left Vegas the next day. I was pretty annoyed by this point at the site, so I attempted a now third contact with them. I emailed both support and player care. I explained the situation, explained how they completely wasted my time and money, and indicated that I would like some type of credit to compensate me for the giant inconvenience. Can you guess the reply? Obviously, no reply. Especially not within 30 minutes.

The default defense I've read in this thread when someone mentions some gross incompetence on the part of the site (wow, there have now been so many) is that it's a new site and its a beta test, etc etc etc. That is completely unacceptable. There are certainly alot of customers unfamiliar with this thread, and have no idea they are apparently signing up for a beta test with a site who promises one thing and then does not deliver it. They simply saw advertisments indicating a site was ready to play on.

Ultimate Poker, you are charging your players full rake. As such, anything less than full customer service is an insult.

That Cab driver was happy for sure

What a fool. I'm pretty sure I've been playing for a living far longer than you.

Yesterday I was told to unhook all remote access software. [I DID] I then was allowed to open an account. [I DID] and played all day, no problem. Today I tried to play and recv'd message saying I can't play or even get into my account because of RAS. I triple checked to make sure the RAS was not reactvated when I turned on my computer today. It still will not open for me. Please help. Thank You

I am sure you have . Well played sir

This site started right off with cash play? No beta testing just using play chips to see if everything works? Awfully risky imo.

What does Ultimate Poker have to do become a better option for international players than Poker Stars?

This seems to be a daily issue, and should be high on their list of fixes, it is extremely irritating.

I'm getting "the program cannot display the webpage on the banner at the bottom of the lobby as well as when i try and go to the cashier screen. I've been playing since launch without any problems. I tried rebooting the PC and it's still happening.

I am having the same issue as well. My UP client crashes every 30 minutes or so and although it will open back up immediately it causes me to miss hands or worse folds me out of hands I have already invested in.

Playing into a 4% rake, w NO rakeback deals in place. Plus the possibility of shenanigans by the same software people that created the superuser accounts on Ultimate Bet.

Who was it that said "there's a sucker born every minute"? Was it the Fertitta brothers?

1/40th of the way to PokerStars-level traffic!

You obviously haven't been following the developments around these parts. UP dropped Iovation the moment that 2p2 brought their concerns forward. AND UP wasn't even using Iovation. They were using CAMS, which was licensed by Nevada, and CAMS was using Iovation, which wasn't licensed by Nevada. They (UP) weren't aware of the extent of Greg Pierson's involvement in the UB scandal, and neither was the rest of the poker world, really, until a few days ago when those audio recordings were released. There is literally no other poker site on the planet, IMO, whose support staff is as attentive, cooperative, helpful, and responsive as UP's except for, in certain instances, PokerStars.

Also, the 4% rake is pretty much industry standard and UP has stated that they will be implementing rakeback payouts retroactively as soon as they set their VIP system up. So, in effect, players are currently earning rakeback, it just isn't being paid into their accounts until the VIP program is finalized.

Plus, with as juicy as the games are, it doesn't even matter at this point. It's like pre-UIGEA poker on UP.

You're awfully naiveif you believe the "dropping" of a company means that all access to the site has been severed.
