What do we want?! Location Verification Services!

When do we want it?! The next time we log in to Ultimate Poker!

It might be our request to locate verify you timing out. We're working on this. No need to head to Vegas just yet.

Awesome. I wasn't sure if the dealer shirts were delivered to the casinos yet. Our merchandise girl is pulling some 14 hour days like the rest of us. I'll pass on the news to her.

We dealt our 100,000th hand last night. So, at least one person is playing.

Primm might be too close to the border, even if the location verification works properly. NGCB only approved 1.5k as the buffer. People in parts of Primm, S. Lake Tahoe, and Laughlin may have problems.

Stop sucking UP....seriously. This "launch" is getting embarrassing. People can't deposit, people can't get verified, people can't used their phones. Ironic that cashing out is the only thing that works smoothly (I'm assuming of course) Maybe you should just shut down operations until you have a product that is semi-feasible.
Send us an email (playercare@) or send me a PM and I'll go have them nudge your account so you can make another ACH deposit.

And I don't have to be grateful someone is providing an entertainment service.
just give it time and stop acting like a 5 year old who can't have his favourite toy.

Just deposited a wire transfer. Does anyone know about how long these have been taking to go through? It has cleared on my end.

And it clears. Only took about 30 minutes. Well done on that

I have noticed, if I switch the LTE off (which I assume im doing by changing it to WCDMA only?) that I then cant use it for texts or calls, because there seems to not be coverage unless I leave it on, so I still think Jean has too few people to ever get served, even if they allow more time to locate people. does dax know of anyone at all in Laughlin getting online, and im sure Wendover also wont work same as s lake Tahoe. and are there any areas of Las Vegas in particular to avoid, I remember him mentioning an area near sahara before. If I can find a friend who wont charge me $30 in gas, I might ride into vegas and back to run a test to see if I can get online anywhere.

the quicker this is resolved, the better publicly u will receive. my poker blog has close to 700,000 hits, and I do mention on it the issues im having.

We can change certain things (settings, content on web pages) but we can't touch others (the way the cards are dealt, or other core game mechanics) during this period.

During this field trial, they perform intensive audits of gameplay, poke and prod our software to make sure everything's working as intended, and look around our business (metaphorically speaking - they're not actually here) to ensure everyone has (or doesn't have!) the right permissions, access to software, data, and so on.

It should be transparent to you guys, but for us, this is part of the reason the software has to be "simple" to start - we want to blast through field trial without a hitch, then start adding the features that we think are cool.
So it will be 27 more days until your 1st update to the software?

I deposited, and can't play due to mobile phone issues.

I'm not even receiving the texts (on Sprint) to reply to.

I want to withdraw via check but I can't withdraw since my mobile phone number is unverified.

Help!

Call up sprint, ask them to allow texts from "short codes" and you should be all set (to play, as well as cash out). There's detailed instructions for Sprint in the FAQ (first post).

Minor tweaks are allowed, but at least 27 more days, yes. There's still other things that need to happen before we'll do a release (independent review, internal testing, and so on). And no, I won't say when we're releasing Fiple Draw Badugi with 3 Flops Run-It-Twice Mississippi Straddle. Soon!

(that's a joke, by the way, real players only play open-face)

Looking to head to the Red Rock this Sunday for the tournament. Our favorite casino BTW. The pages I have read on this thread indicate my Verizon phone will not work for the location services. Any chance this will be cleared up by Sunday?

Assuming not, I saw another poster simply bought a low end T-Mobile phone with the required text messaging functions to be able to log in and play. If anyone can post the phone model and plan, I would appreciate it. And I would use the phone only for geo-location in Nevada when playing poker. If anyone has an idea what the cost of that would be let me know.

Having been a regular online player (I won two tournaments too ) I cannot tell you how happy I am that this has finally come about. The future is indeed brighter for poker these days. Hope to see some of you in teh Sunday $10,000 guaranteed

The software seems pretty slow and I can't re-size it out of full screen on my laptop. I can't see anything above the ring games tab.

Might I suggest you purchase AP's software for the bargain basement price of $55 million?

Agreed. I did a quick search of posts that contained the word "tax" and copied them to this thread where the conversation can continue:

Contact support - what they can do is walk you through the process. It'll be a little clunky.

First contact support - they can add the mobile verified flag to your account. This will let you start a cashout. You'll be prompted for a PIN. Don't click cancel!

As soon as you've started the cashout, your PIN will be shown in your user page in our tools. The support rep will give this PIN to you, which you can enter to complete the cashout request.

Then we'll be able to send you a check (or you can get your money at the cage, depending on what you asked for).

ATM withdrawal limit reached. Would they be willing to take $40? That's all I got. #brokeliving

Good news guys - we now support Cricket phones.

I've also heard that you should be referring to this with Verizon support as LOCATION BASED SERVICES (LBS).
