so its only for NV citizens correct

This is unbelievable. The last time I had such adrenaline reading 2+2 was when BF first happened and everything was going crazy.
I truly hope this is the first of many to come. I live in TX and having the game named after your state, but not being able to play is unreal and so frustrating. I hope you all get a great experience w/ the new product and keep us who are going to be crying while playing ACR updated w/ all your features, bonuses, and experiences.
It's a great day in America, regardless of how insanely slow and ridiculous our govt is, I am proud at least 1 state had the guts to stand up and lead the way. Way to go Nevada!
GL at the tables all, hopefully you have some other US fish like myself to join soon!

Man someone would make a killing housing cell phones and keeping them on and charged all day every day haha. Let me know where to send mine!

Congrats to those in NV.

The option of going to a casino to cash out is pretty badass. Very impressive if this runs smoothly right off the bat

Dax,

Any plans in the works for an interstate network? If so, when?

No relationship to UB. We chose the name to strengthen our association with the UFC.

I hope not. But this troubles me:

Quite frankly you are going to have to explain this type of cryptic error message instead of just throwing it out there and expecting people to know what it means.

There is zero degrees of separation between Ultimate Bet and Iovation. And that zero degrees is a fellow named Greg Pierson.

Guys, do your homework on this. Be careful.

So when I'm in Vegas for wsop I can play on here even though I'm not a Nevada citizen correct?

Does this mean HUD's will be a no go?

Not sure if the error is just a coincidence but he's not joking.

Ha, this is exactly what I thought. People are going to be posting lots of cheap pay-as-you go cells to NV!

I'll try to answer a couple questions for you guys, but as you can expect, it's going to be a busy day today. We've been holding this under wraps for a while now.

You can play as long as you're IN Nevada with a cell phone (we triangulate the cell phone every time you log in and periodically while you play).

You can deposit and cash out at any Stations casinos (there's 15 in the LV area) as well as use a credit card, mailed check or bank wire. We think it's going to be pretty cool to win a tournament, and drive down the street and get your cash. Cash. In your hand. Down the street. Cash. Yeah.

Remember how things used to be with banks and VISA? No more. We have a new merchant code for MasterCard and preliminary reports are that almost all MC deposits are going through.

Naturally we'll have more deposit methods as time goes on.

No relationship to UB. We chose the name to strengthen our association with the UFC.

We'll have a VIP program very soon. We offer competitive rake (4% for limit, 4.5% for NL, mostly less than 10% for MTTs/SNGs). We're also working on a huge variety of other things, but we wanted to clear the biggest hurdle first: getting to market and overcoming compliance. This is a new day and age, and compliance rules are tough. We also recognize that our software isn't as full featured as other sites you've played on. That's going to change. We have bright developers, smart people, and a host of people who've logged a combined several million hands online and live. Give us constructive feedback and help us move forward in the right direction and I guarantee you we'll get there.

I'll be doing the best I can to stay on top of this thread today, but if you want to talk to us, find us on twitter @UltimatePoker, myself @cdanek, Terrence Chan @tchanpoker, or email us directly at playercare@ultimatepoker.com.

Don't ask me to do this in person, but in the words of the almighty Bruce Buffer... IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITSSSS TIIIIIIIIIIME!
Are you going to use your land based casinos to promote the online poker site?

Apologies. IOVation is our age/identity verification software. You're right though, that message needs to be a bit more friendly.

We're on a bit of a skeleton crew for support right now, but I'll see if I can get your request bumped up a bit. I think you might be able to preempt them, though, by sending a scan of your ID (I'm 90% sure that's what they're gonna ask for).

Yup. But we don't like to call them fish.

We spend a lot of time and energy thinking about ways to conserve and grow the poker economy (while running a business). I've read and thought about every post over in that dozen-page rake thread.

Lots of TV ads. Also, Antonio.
