Have had this problem since Wednesday. Was ok on Thursday. Down again since Friday - 4 Days of trying.

I have probably chatted with every Ace with many suggestions. At this point I have given up after spending Hours on it. Waiting for the techs to figure it out.

Update was Wednesday and it was for the DGE according to the Aces.

I go through this everytime. I try to log on, it won't let me because it says I have remote software running (I dont). I immediately reboot the computer and sign on with no problems.

Okay, I just got more information on this and it does look like it has nothing to do with Task Manager or anything running in there. We've at least isolated the cause, now just a matter of trying to find a way to fix it.

re: Feature Requests & Bug Reports

an option to double rebuy when losing all chips early in a rebuy would be nice instead of being forced to fold the hand after the 1st rebuy in order to not win the blinds and not be able to buy the next 2k chips.

re: Feature Requests & Bug Reports

Not sure if this has been brought up before but I would love to see the client remember my filters on the Sit and Go tab as it does for the other tabs.

You could probably boost SnG traffic by showing some of the SnGs on the tournaments tab as several other rooms do. The SnG and tournament player pool are typically very aligned anyway so it would be a one stop shop for those folks.

More detailed filtering in general would be a great addition also. I honestly don't want to see the completed tournaments for example.

One last thing would be to create a view where players can see their actual tournament results, not the hands. I contacted support and they were able to provide me with a PDF containing all hands I'd played for a certain time frame but I was really looking for an overview of my sng and mtt results and as far as I know no such thing is available right now.

I never noticed this before, but is late registration still open for a tournament after the money is reached? I was in a $10 double stack that paid 3 spots with 3 people left. Got bumped out of the money twice by additional people joining then bubbled.

This is sadly a common angle shoot across many sites. It's imparative that sites pay close attention to their structures/blind levels/late reg period to keep these opportunistic scum away from their site.

$50 ticket freeroll 8/1/14 1945: clicked register a couple of times, and software just closed. I see 14 registered. tried to just open lobby. software did not close, but the button compressed without performing any action.

LOL - So playing another $10 tournament, got down to 2 people and paid 2 spots with a few minutes left in registration and our chips stacks pretty even. Not wanting to have a new player bump us out of the money I shoved and was called.

After the flop someone registered, I lost the hand and finished out of the money. I contacted CS via chat and for the first time they were not helpful.

How can someone register mid-hand? Decisions are made based on how many players are left. I'm kinda pissed but thinking I may head back to WSOP. Seems stupid over a $20 cash but at least I expect to be screwed by them so won't be disappointed.

I've seen this happen before on other sites and unless you too were a late joiner who just got out angled then you deserve your buy in back at the least.

Setting up a satellite/tourney with a long late reg in the hopes of gaining more players/rake should not come at the expense to a player who played it from the beginning. This angle is not new to the industry and the person in charge of tourneys/satellites should be well aware of it. If a site chooses to gamble with allowing a long late reg period then they should be held accountable if an angler late regs and hurts the honest players experience.

edit: hbmbguy- I think you should reconsider your position in regards to UP... they have established themselves as having the best CS in the legalized industry and there's a good chance that the support worker didn't understand what transpired. They certainly wouldn't want to lose an honest customer over $20 dollars.

re: Feature Requests & Bug Reports

Sounds like the guy might have been waiting for that opportunity. Insanely profitable exploit there, to reg during an AI hand between when the (pseudo) bubble bursts and the first payout is made. maybe even after, what happens in this scenario:
5 places pay
5th and 4th are out and paid
2 people go all in and someone regs (can they still at this point is the real question)
1 person busts
Does the person who busted get 4th, with the previous 4th getting 5th and the previous 5th getting dick? Does the would be 3d get screwed?

I think the best way is to cut off late entries at the set time limit or at the payout number + number of tables left, whichever comes first. So if 5 spots get paid, once you are down to 6 no more late entries. If 12 spots get paid the cutoff would be at 14. This way when you get to the point where every table playing out there hand can take you past the bubble, no one else can enter.

Although what you suggest would work it would take a lot of resources to have it implemented and for the software to get approved. The easiest way is to cut off late registration at a "safer" period. For some tourneys 1 hour late reg is fine as the bubble is still way in the distance. For others late reg should only go a few minutes (mainly satellites). This should be the tourney directors decision and it shouldn't be too hard.

re: Feature Requests & Bug Reports

Hello,

I am still getting the "you are running remote software" message every time I start UP since the last update. If I restart my computer and then try again, it works. Not a big deal but a pain to have to start/shut down/restart every time I want to play. Is anything being done about this glitch? Has been a couple of months now.

We have identified the process that is causing this error, and have made the adjustments necessary to correct this issue. Unfortunately, it will take a couple weeks to to get fix into our live environment. I completely understand how annoying it is. Thanks for bearing with us as we continue to get these types of fixes and updates to all our players as quickly as we can.

Same. Have to Restart the computer every time that I want to log in. After that it seems to be working normally.

re: Feature Requests & Bug Reports

can anything be done about the inactivity password prompt?

I sometimes try to sit first in the higher limit SNGs but eventually get frustrated having to type my password every 20 minutes to stay logged in. Also if I should miss doing so being logged out and forgetting to relog and unreg ends up costing me a buyin.

If it didn't bug me thrice an hour I'd be happy to sit all day and try to generate action on the site. As is I only play when I am low on WSOP tables and it looks like enough people already regged on UP to start some sngs.

Same with sitting alone at a cash table. These actions should really count as activity and bypass the popup the same as playing hands would.

It's not an issue at all on wsop.

More $40, $27, and $17 sngs would run if this were fixed.

re: Feature Requests & Bug Reports

I have the same problem with inactivity. I will lobby for 5+ hu sngs and waiting for action and often times i go inactive. The only thing Ive done is occasionally just click on the client which resets the time for you to go inactive. its very frustrating to be mass tabling on other sites and go in active on ultimate and have to retype your password in. It would be nice if it was how wsop is and your info is saved you just click the button
