better ocean coho and chinook along with halibut and botttom fish at garibaldi and few other boats. oregon is going to be too locked down like before with boat ramps closed if it gets any worse which it looks like it will.
but the water just cleared at my house in montana and the trout are there.

Update: The insanity continues. But for me, life is good and the garden is growing and the weather is warm and the deer frolic about. Pics when I have the time.

I was out cutting down dead trees and engaging in other unforgivable sins for three days in a very rural area with, thankfully, no internet access. Helping an old hippie with five acres of land and only four marijuana plants.

Four's enough if they're the right plants.

Fir Tree(s) I felled, two large ones (both over 2 ft diameter on the stump), and cut up into rounds for my hippie friend who shall remain unknown. Felled many other small trees also, mostly dead ones to thin out the forest area. Splitting up all the large rounds (firewood for this winter) will be a backbreaking job completed by my brother and the Hippie Dude. Also a Lot of limbs and bush to pile up and burn when the fire season has ended. This will amp up climate change and the destruction of the planet which is icing on the cake for me.

If I were virtue signaling, pics and sanctimonious text, with the usual neat self-righteous drumbeat would be a requirement.

Mouth of the Rouge choked with boats. Numerous Californians tailgate and try to push you off the road. RV’s galore and other Vacationers rampaging up and down the coast in hoards. The “get away from it all people” are in the same area. I’m barely safe at my abode. And still the people are rampaging up and down the road outside my front door. Hardly any peace and quiet except in the evening.

Stopped by an ocean wayside, of the nine vehicles there, seven were from out of state- six from California, one from Washington. Two from Oregon including mine. Eight groups of people (mostly families) on the beach, fishing or otherwise enjoying the beautiful day.

Good for them, life is short.
