Still harvesting some strawberries and my greens are doing well. Got some good tomatoes also this year. Massive rain, much needed, will continue for another day at least. This will end most of the green tomatoes getting ripe so I’ll just pick them. Some will ripen in the house. Cooling down and less and less sun so the end of September is the end for most of my garden.
Purchased a monster 4x4 pickup; a used 1982 Jeep, very clean with a rebuild 360, V8 engine. I’ll be lucky to get 12 mpg, and it really warms my heart that I will be adding extra pollution to the atmosphere. I’m here to Rape the planet. And I’m winning!

Hope not but possible. Good thing is that since this is a 1982 vehicle, I can do most repairs and maintenance myself. I have all the needed tools and a large shop building. Including a chain hoist.
At least get a truck like the hillbillies were driving at the end of Easy Rider. Perfect for dealing with bourgeois, save the planet, do-gooders.
I get about ten miles to the gallon with minimal to non-existent pollution controls on the engine. I spew out toxic waste into the atmosphere at a phenomenal rate. I’ve not calculated how many extra deaths are due to my purchase of this vehicle but can say with gusto and pride that I hope it is in the millions. And since I live in the USA you should be applauding me.

The ranching family that I live next to has a large herd of cattle; they have been a ranching family for well over a hundred years in the valley. The calfs are growing fast that were born in mid-February. They have to go out daily and provide fresh hay for feed and bedding. They are fun to watch grow and frolic about.
This is a pretty nice looking old body style truck. I hope you have a two tone color like a tan/coffee color and white or brown. Hope you don’t have some silly lift kit and big mud tires.
