But il start with a trip report on my visit of kings casino Razvodov in the Tjech republic.


Am cleaning my hut now so i can start my journey towards there in couple of hours by train.

An hour in a freaking hot train will be waited upon by a shuttle from the casino.

The lead up to this trip was the following:


Thursday 2 weeks ago, we were in Heillbronn Germany where we just had unloaded our cargo of coal (I am a bargeman or leichtmatrose binnenfahrt) and we were supposed to load salt for Mannheim. I had just cleaned out our cargo holds when the call came, could we unload Tuesday because they were delayed. As we already had a appointment for loading Tuesday the salt trip was canceled. So we went empty to Mannheim and I had the weekend off

So Saturday I took the S Bahn to Bad Durkheim ( im a cheapskate I know ) and registered for the 110 bi mini nlh mtt. 25 participants started with me , 30 min blinds starting at 20/40 doubling every blind 10k startstack. Never saw more than pocket 10s but they weren't used to my Dutch style (start by entering all pots that I could get into cheap and when I had a good hit or draw being very aggressive and I could push them around quite a bit. Just before the final table the only good player I had found so far reacted a couple of time quite aggressive on my loose raises and I got so annoyed that I double him up for a third of my stack (22k) with kq s. I decided that he indeed had worked me up quite nicely and that I wouldn't do that again.

Had some annoyance with food delivery than ( cold fries and wurst with over date mayonnaise) for which I had tipped to American standard. That I complained about it, first he just ignored me so I made my complaints heared by the table. And they took upon them my case which landed my quite some goodwill. And got me my money back


Final table started alright I worked my stack back to 68 k of a total of 260000 chips supposedly.....
Payout was 1040 780 560 260, and at 5 players the smallstack (11k at 500/1000 blinds) wanted a pause for a deal. 700 for me 500 for the rest 400 for him. As I saw only one of them as decent ( the one from the KQ double up) and he had 20K and I had 112K I said resolutely no. While all the others agreed. ….... they didn't like that . I may have looked like a funny tourist too them I knew that deal was terrible.

After that they wanted my guts for the next 2 hours which I took nicely advantage out. The deal offerer was first out as usual in these kind of situations. And I bided my time while the good player hunted down the small stacks. We soon where heads up and I had a 60/40 lead on him stack wise. He wanted to be first for the local tournament leader board in which I as tourist had no interest in.

I played nice and aggressively and momentum sure went in my favor. So it surprised me when after a hour headup and my stack at 168500 chips he offered me the following deal.

940 for me and the rest for him. On which I immediately agreed cause it looked good to me and it was still a decent time ( 00,30) am to get to sleep. And do some work next day on board.

He thought he had chiplead and the points for the leadershipboard cause he had 152K chips out of the 260k total at start. I thought thats impossubru cause I had 168500 chips.....

So next day I made the following topic something was wrong but I still don't know what.

Went back the next day they had no tourney so I played some cash for another 350 profit. And than we loaded fertilizer on Tuesday and we went towards Regensburg. Where we partially unloaded and I got the okay to go on a small holiday. So im now still sitting in this freaking hot train for another 5 minutes.

Arrived, ran into a fresh accident ( car reartailed a truck) hat off to German firefighters we could go along within 20 minutes!!! room is good only downside no airco... but for 30 euro a night....

Am here with a 2k bankroll, lets see how far I get with that. Freshened up and going to casino for food and the small mtt. Customer service so far is great

First time im doing this multiday at a casino, usually i drove back after a night and drove again next day or had the ship close by enough to get back to it.

Just finished playing, will report more extensively on the mtt tomorrow but for now i just say that it gave me a net profit of 110.

Played some blackjack during breaks (gave myself a budget of 50 for bj this week) and made that into a 100.

And than the cashgame. It is mostly 1/3 here with a min buy in of a hundred. I took 2nd seat behind the chipvader with 1100 stack. The rest where between a hundred and 600. The table is weirdly situated in between the gamblingpit. And is lighted from high above with very bright light. Never seen it like this but i quite liked it.

But found it very weird to be at the back of all the table games, normal casinos (rightly) forbid u to just stand behind the dealers of game and here your seated there.


Was quite tired at start so didnt bring my A game. But than i looked around and saw 5 of the early busts in a deepstack tournament 1 huge stack from a obviously dead tired person and 1 unknown who proved to be a great nit.


So i kinda runned them over by raising them out of most pots. fubarred a few pots so ended on just 400 profit.

So i started 2 weeks ago with a roll of 350 and although i had quite some expenses my roll is now at 1500 in the box and 500 on me.


Life is good atm , maybe all the learning money will finally be repaid.

Had set myself a budget for bj of 50,- played some after breakfast. Needed 2 play 2 boxes cause i was the only gambler in the casino (10 am doesn't seem to be popular....

Dealer got me to double up each time i was down and my br went lower and lower. Decided to stop after the dealer crushed me in short time for another 300 was down 490 at that point. Left hating myself for not keeping to my budget , but also thought well this is only about my profit from yesterday so still no biggie.


Showered redecided that i want my money back (degen nah...) got 600 from my cage account which i lost in 3 hands. Cage was surprised that i was back in 2 minutes for my final 900... dealer standing close couldn't keep a smuck smile from his face and i agreed with him i was f*****.....


played for another half hour and i was down to my last 200 so down 1800 at that point.... thought f*** it and started to play heavy on the right box cause i had lost it all on the left and only a token amount on the other box.


1 hour later and one of the scariest run of my life, dealer tells me his stint is over. Im break even thank god and quit there. Deposited 1750 at the cage and tipped her for her troubles

Could have been a long 5 days if i had bust my br there.



NO MORE BLACKJACK FOR ME not even for a dime.



Food and softdrinks are free at the casino, and so far i ve got to say dealers are the best i ve had anywhere. Talkative when u show that u want a talk, and for the rest fast error free trilingual at least and can do shut up and deal greatly What does feel awkward is that there is no clothing policy , most West European casinos demand quite much from you but here..... shorts tanktops for men caps hats everything is allowed.



walked around the town, what a ****hole it is for the rest. Massage parlors cigarette & alcohol shops (different taxes than germany) And brothels....




Bought some extra clothes from the most ****tiest clothing store ive ever seen. Had to pack in a rush so didn't bring all i needed. 2 bermuda's and a shirt for 20 euro....

If you are in Hamburg at some point, you could send me a pm (or if you maybe have a job for me, lol). The Casino in Schenefeld has way better MTT's than the Esplanade, and is worth the longer ride from central station. I might join one, if I'm doing well at that time.
