Wanted to write out my wild ride at the tables of Bovada. A little back history to my story. I've been playing on the site for about two and half years now just for fun and with no real success. I never played poker before Black Friday so this is my only experience with the online format.

I first deposited the standard 100$ and decided to play 5$ 9 man sngos. After about a week I was up to about 500$ and decided to jump up to the 10$s. About a month into the whole experience my br was a clean 2k. I've always played live poker so I could always manage a live bank roll but online I was clueless. I took to web to research my next path with this 2k because I was bored of sngos.

Chapter 2

After extensive research I decided to take to the online felt playing .50/1 6 max. Let me tell you this was so boring! I'm used to playing 2/5 live with huge pots and now I'm playing 10-100$ pots. Let's just say after about a week of this I had seen enough. I was ready to play huge and take a shot with my 2.5k roll. Obviously this goes against everything a player is supposed to do but I was ready to embark on a journey at the 5/10 6max tables and I couldn't be more excited...

Chapter 3

I decided I was going to shortstack buying in for half at 500$ with 4 buyins and save 500 to rebuild if I fail, not ideal conditions. I sat at a table where most of the players had between 750 and 2k, sort of scared with my baby 500. My approach was going to be super tight and look for a spot to double up with a pocket pair or a huge combo draw. The first hour went pretty well and I managed to pick up a few small pots sitting on about 700. Then it happened I got the hand I was waiting for QQ in the big blind. There was a raise to 30 with one other caller so I made it 125 to go. The original raiser went all in for about 1 k, the other guy dropped and I tank called. While seeing his Ak i screamed hold! And it did, now sitting on 1.5k!!! I looked at a few more hands vowing only to play AA or Kk and sat out. That was the rush I was seeking. Now most people would of kept on playing I decided to book the profit and play the next day.

Flash forward a few weeks and I continued this process until I had a nice bankroll of about 9k. I ran pretty damn good those couple weeks and only lost a couple flips for about 1.5k

Chapter 4 "Title so true"

Well at this point I start to get a bit excited with about a 10k bank roll and nothing to loose. This is truly the most money I've ever had online over the past few years. I decide to play it smart and I drop down to 1/2 so I can grind it out as it was intended... boring! After being used to big pots these 10$ pots are so irrelevant, horrible mind set I know. A few days of this and I'm back to 5/10.

Chapter 5 "New Play"

Well as I stated earlier I decided to go back to my old ways of short stacking 5-10, huge mistake... Well let's just say I hit that downswing everyone talks about. I couldn't do anything right. I guess that's when I made the horrible decision to play some black jack in order to chase my losses. Black jack... Well let's just say this was when they had 1k max tables, now they are 500 max. I used to start out playing 5$ hands and then when I felt I was hot I'd bet 25-100 a hand. I played until I made 250-500 a day, this went on for 2 weeks with success. At this point I should of ditched this tight rope play and went back to poker but the Rush was too much!
