so a super super close friend of mine came in to town (hes in the army) for a little over a week, and i've been doing a lot of partying with him

i'm pretty confident that i've had more to drink in this past week than my whole summer in vegas (drinking night after night isn't standard at all for me)

i winged for him the other night as we met a couple loaded cougars, the night was pretty crazy (one was minimum late 30s that he was trying to get with, smoking hot body, the one i was keeping busy while he tried to get with the other was like 50 lol, i went in my local cardroom/bar and def got looks from people i see a lot), bars, $500 bottles of red wine at the locals pad (at least one i forget if we cracked another), the other was visiting, they cooked for us, and were insanely hospitable for just meeting us

last night was his last night here and we were so partied out i needed to give him $100's to hand back to me after approaching set after set to get in the social mode

now that he's gone i'm def back on the grind mode, gonna get back to online playing to keep the backers happy, and going to be playing live as well, i never made it to tahoe =(

Played a guy live heads up PLO today, was super fun, he played a lot better than I expected him to and snap accepted making it Plo instead of hold em so I guess it shouldn't have been that big of a surprise, really cool dude, I played super aggro at first, was going well and as he adjusted and I toned it down a bit, he gained a ton of momentum shortly afterwards for a good amount of time, but that came to an end when I won a few big pots, three barreled a made hand that he folded on river, jammed over his turn bet IP in a 3b pot that he tank folded on a scary board, bet 3b with trash on AK3cchAh when he checked back flop, and one other pot I don't remember where I jammed river repping something credible where he folded, never showed my cards and all those hands that I won without showdown sealed his fate when he finally took a stand, I called his open with JJQcc8 and CR JK6hxx, he calls and I cbet Th, he calls and I jam a 2 river and he didn't think too long before calling and mucking. Talked a little bit afterwards about the Nlh game we were playing before it broke, took some shots and watched the final table of the main.

funny story, did the T25 workout (just acquired it, jumped straight into the hard ones)
was gonna shower and was going through email and bovada gave me a free satty ticket to the 100k gtd tomorrow, i popped open bovada late reg'd with little time left, proceeded to lose all 4 of my flips in std mtt flip situations (also lost the bare minimum on a cooler) busted 73rd when 40 got tickets, story of my life

Still doing pretty well live, very happy with my current win rate. And I feel my live game has strengthened, and my current level of discipline is solid (guess it helps when you're sitting on your ass for hours on end folding in a low limit game).

Bought a bottle of cristal for New Years in Vegas. Wanna do rhino challenge with katana and whoever else, but well see how that goes.

Going to try my best to play some LAPC events, and mid stakes live donkaments in general.

Plan on going back to Vegas feb 13th to catch a queens of the Stone Age show, party of 4 confirmed so far.

Congrats to er7eman on his 3rd place finish in the circuit main event today, super gross ending and I can imagine how bad he wanted that win, but what can you do.

You should definitely make if down for lapc-a very well run series and good side action.

Do you mostly play PLO live?
Have some business up there after the new year and prefer mid- high LHE or plo.
What stakes/how often does plo run?

windows did an automatic update on my computer, took away all desktop icons, all my pictures videos software are now located in a different section of the computer, and it affected a ton of installed programs etc, basically this:
