SEP 4th pokerhost session

After my short and sweet bovada sesh not going so well I tried to generate as much action on pokerhost as I could (most of the action is at 2/4 that I've noticed so I had to start 1/2 plo tables), I obv sat alone, and after playing really short (which I obv don't mind) for a while the tables got going (had to play some 100plo also for a while).

Here's some notables (not going in order):

1#
Merge - $2 PL Hi (6 max) - Omaha Hi - 4 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

BTN: 100 BB (VPIP: 25.00, PFR: 10.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 20)
SB: 174.02 BB (VPIP: 52.07, PFR: 29.49, 3Bet Preflop: 14.71, Hands: 234)
Hero (BB): 192.39 BB
CO: 85.17 BB (VPIP: 53.70, PFR: 12.96, 3Bet Preflop: 7.41, Hands: 54)

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 8 3 Q Q

CO calls 1 BB, fold, SB raises to 4 BB, Hero calls 3 BB, CO calls 3 BB
Not a great hand at all, but SB is an action player who loves going nuts.

Flop: (12 BB, 3 players) 7 8 8
SB bets 9 BB, Hero raises to 31.5 BB, fold, SB raises to 106.5 BB, Hero raises to 188.39 BB and is all-in, SB calls 63.52 BB and is all-in
SB has been me bluff raise and I've been him bluff raise vs me on paired boards like this, we had a very aggressive dynamic going on as we were playing HU on another table that broke, but when he raised back instead of called I tanked, and was thinking about folding until I remembered that he raised his hand from the SB (making overpairs w/flush draws more likely), if he hadn't done so I probably would've given him more credit for an 8 and folded.

Turn: (352.03 BB, 2 players) K

River: (352.03 BB, 2 players) J

SB shows A 6 A 9 (Two Pair, Aces and Eights) (Pre 70%, Flop 50%, Turn 35%)
Hero shows 8 3 Q Q (Three of a Kind, Eights) (Pre 30%, Flop 50%, Turn 65%)

CO raises to 3.5 BB, Hero calls 3.5 BB, fold, BB raises to 14.5 BB, CO calls 11 BB, Hero calls 11 BB
CO is villain from last hand, and the whole reason I stuck around.

Flop: (44 BB, 3 players) Q 8 9
BB bets 35.5 BB and is all-in, CO raises to 150.5 BB, Hero calls 100.59 BB and is all-in

Flop: (44 BB, 3 players) A 3 2
BB bets 14 BB, CO raises to 42.5 BB, Hero calls 42.5 BB, fold
When CO raises here I'm obv loving life, but thinking how to get the rest in, I decided to call just in case he was raising with a blocker, hoping he'd jam the turn.

Turn: (143 BB, 2 players) 8
CO checks, Hero checks
This confused me b/c I didn't know if he was trapping, or if he just gave up, I thought that he just gave up, and still kinda think that (no reason to trap with the pot so huge), so what I decided to do was check here hoping the board wouldn't pair (which happens what somewhere around 22%?) and make it look like I had a set and get him to bluff jam the river.

River: (143 BB, 2 players) 3
CO checks, Hero bets 43 BB and is all-in, fold
Didn't work, stupid board pair when I don't have the set obv lol =(

BB checks, Hero bets 10.88 BB, MP raises to 34.98 BB and is all-in, BTN calls 34.98 BB, fold, Hero calls 24.1 BB
These spots are trouble and tough, you really have to get used to these kind of spots in plo, esp HU: When MP jams with players behind I don't like it, but with an 8 blocker, the other two cards being so low and the fact that he's so shallow I can never fold to his jam here given the price, when B calls I feel like he has the same kind of hand, as I'd expect a jam from a hand that beats mine or has massive equity, so I took the call given 4-1.

So last nights session was fun, made a couple buyins in bovada (was up more but lost a couple annoying hands), and was doing well on pokerhost, but lol swings, ended up getting crushed, although EV shows I was supposed to win a couple buy ins.

Would do a better report and might post some hands later, but there's an action player on the site and I wanna put in more volume, might go out tonight.

This my friend Katana, is called variance, I play a sick game called plo, and the swings are insane, running 10 buyins under ev is standard my friend, so just imagine the swings playing like 30 hands an hour of live lol. An amazing player can go through a very long losing period, and it's not always the players fault, although some people handle it better than others and some tilt off more buy ins lol. I feel I'm handling tilt super well, didn't tilt at all yesterday. There were a ton of brutal/sick hands too.

I had a dream last night, and this was my interpretation of a day in the life of TNCJ -

So I woke up from a long night of crushing 39 tables on Bovada, and wiped the sleep out of my eyes. I glanced around the room and looked at all of the crushed Mountain Dew cans, the empty bags of beef jerky, and the Thai girl whose name I didn't remember. You can't see her in the below photo, but I swear she's there.

I stumbled to the bathroom, humming some Notorious BIG, while wondering if I should call the shove with 3A following a 7 bet. My instinct kicks in and I reluctantly fold.

I kick out the Thai girl and get ready for a long day of grinding. I decide to enter a 1k tournament and get my money good. There was a 19 bet pre, and we go to a flop. I eventually call the shove OTT with 1010 on a AKJ22 .
My opponent rarely has a heart here. Or an Ace. Or a King. Or a Jack. Or a deuce.
Either way I lose to the 4 and hang my head in disgust, variance peeking it's ugly head yet again.

I walk out into the living room, and I see my roommates girlfriend on her webcam. This is a live action screen shot. (that's me in the background), still hungover leaning against the wall from last nights activities.

My roomie isn't home, and even though his girl is giving me the googly eyes, I decide to pass and go smash some food instead. Thing that sucks in Sac-town there are no Cafe Rios, so it's off to Chipotle to murder a burrito.
I like my burritos how I like my women. Hot, big and juicy.

I grab the waitresses number. Her number is 234-567-8910. Damn, that's like a 9 card straight. Talk about running good.

I get home, log back on, and play about 24 thousand hands over the next 17 minutes. It's laughable how bad these players are. I totally get how Phil Hellmuth feels. Must be tough being this good.

Even though I lose somewhere in the vicinity of, I dunno, a million buy ins, I'm not worried. Here's my tracker.

Like an hour later, I'm hungry again. Time to find another burrito. But I can't get up from the tables.

Eventually I give up on the pokers for the night, and decide to hit the club and get some bottle service. Maybe go scuba diving with Chris Tucker and Aquaman as a nightcap.

I get to the club, and it's bumping. I grab a table for myself and wait for the honeys to flock to me.
The last time I hung with Jay-Z he got a bottle of the Ace of Spades, so naturally, I couldn't be outdone.

I get hammered, pick up like 7 fly honeys and get ready to go back to the crib. We stumble out the club and make our way to my Civic. I open the door, and WTF! Just like a few months ago in Vegas, somebody stole my damn radio!

And then I realized they jacked my rims!

Man, this blows. I tell the sexy ladies that tonight ain't the night, we'll have to catch up next time. I call my buddy to grab my other car while the cops deal with my stuff.

My boy comes with my other car, and I roll away still fly.

So it's like 6am, and I guess I'll fire up one more quick sesh. Playing 1-2 on Bovada, 75-150 on Carbon, 500-1M on FullTilt (play chips tho, ldo) and some stranger in OFC.

Although my VPIP hovers in the 99% range, I know I'm good most of the time, and even if I'm not, my post flop play shines. I shut down at 616am, booking a small winner across the board.

I lay down in bed, and look at the poster on my ceiling and see Tom giving me the thumbs up.

He lets me know that no matter what, I did good today. That's the story of my life boys. Highway to the Danger Zone.

Jew out.

So there's only a couple tables running atm, playing one on each site (crushing on bovada), so I'll go ahead and scroll through some hands I marked for whatever reason.

#1 Pretty standard hand, until the end lol.
Merge - $2 PL Hi (6 max) - Omaha Hi - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

Hero (BB): 124.9 BB
UTG: 146.93 BB (VPIP: 25.55, PFR: 17.08, 3Bet Preflop: 6.69, Hands: 660)
MP: 43.98 BB (VPIP: 35.19, PFR: 19.44, 3Bet Preflop: 2.22, Hands: 108)
CO: 18.78 BB (VPIP: 53.71, PFR: 28.19, 3Bet Preflop: 7.80, Hands: 349)
BTN: 55.7 BB (VPIP: 55.56, PFR: 14.81, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 27)
SB: 185.61 BB (VPIP: 64.00, PFR: 13.33, 3Bet Preflop: 4.55, Hands: 80)

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has K Q 4 T

fold, fold, fold, fold, SB calls 0.5 BB, Hero raises to 3 BB, SB calls 2 BB

Flop: (6 BB, 2 players) T 2 9
SB checks, Hero bets 4.5 BB, SB calls 4.5 BB

Turn: (15 BB, 2 players) 5
SB checks, Hero bets 11.25 BB, SB calls 11.25 BB

River: (37.5 BB, 2 players) 6
SB checks, Hero bets 37.5 BB, SB calls 37.5 BB
So when players check in this spot they seldom have a flush, knowing opponent who was betting the whole time can simply check a value hand back, so I opted to bluff, and decided to pot it to really put em to the test, he tanked for a while and eventually called.
Spoiler:
Hero shows K Q 4 T (One Pair, Tens) (Pre 30%, Flop 44%, Turn 30%)
SB shows K 5 K 6 (Two Pair, Sixes and Fives) (Pre 70%, Flop 56%, Turn 70%)
SB wins 110.5 BB

lol I don't even know

#2
Merge - $2 PL Hi (6 max) - Omaha Hi - 3 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

SB: 85.73 BB (VPIP: 60.03, PFR: 39.33, 3Bet Preflop: 19.18, Hands: 663)
Hero (BB): 100 BB
BTN: 307.72 BB (VPIP: 52.31, PFR: 38.44, 3Bet Preflop: 14.86, Hands: 429)

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has 9 6 Q T

BTN raises to 2.5 BB, SB calls 2 BB, Hero raises to 10 BB, BTN calls 7.5 BB, SB calls 7.5 BB

Flop: (30 BB, 3 players) T 4 2
SB checks, Hero checks, BTN checks
I think I should just about always be cbetting here, I dont like my check.
Turn: (30 BB, 3 players) 7
SB bets 30 BB, Hero calls 30 BB, fold

River: (90 BB, 2 players) K
SB checks, Hero bets 60 BB and is all-in, SB calls 45.73 BB and is all-in
As played I think I like this jam, it looks like I'm going to have a flush here a lot when I check back flop and all the sudden call a pot sized turn bet, I just wish we were deeper so it would've made it a lot harder for him to call.
Spoiler:
Hero shows 9 6 Q T (One Pair, Tens) (Pre 49%, Flop 35%, Turn 23%)
SB shows 4 A 2 T (Flush, King High) (Pre 51%, Flop 65%, Turn 78%)
SB wins 180.45 BB

That'll do for now, there's a ton I forgot to tag that are probably more interesting etc, and a lot I didn't include, but **** it I'm not spending all day on this ****. I've been doing well on both sites the past couple of days, let's hope it keeps up.

So, doing this http://aftershockconcert.com/lineup.html for the next two days, gonna be awesome, also bought AFI tickets in reno on Oct 26th before they sell out.

Hopefully I don't get frisky while FFDP is playing and get involved in this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NzZTKDYcD4Y . I'll probably get myself hurt, I mean, I've been in several pits, gotten my nose broken in one, kicked/punched infinite times, it's super fun to me to play pinball sometimes, but I've mellowed out in pits the past few years, unless I'm with certain friends who I like to throw down with of course =). I consider myself a tough kid, but there will probably be a lot less dudes my size in a pit like this, and the longer I stay the higher the chances of getting ****ed up for sure lol.

As far as poker goes, I'm doing well on both sites, have a great hourly, but still haven't put in an insane amount of volume like I would like to, I've only put in about 10k hands on both sites combined, no worries though it's only been like 10 days or so, with some fun super standard swings, have a lot of hands to post, but spending my time doing other stuff.

Going to try and play the HPT main somehow ( http://www.hptpoker.com/eventinfo.php?yid=2013&eid=17 ), it's probably going to be pretty damn soft, and I'd like more notches on my belt in terms of large MTT cashes (stupid me for not constantly grinding this summer obv). We'll see.
