I'm keeping this trend of doing nothing but looking busy going. I have no projects due until the 3rd, and I'm gonna milk the Hell out of this.

Is that the "if Germany won ww2 one?"
If so, I need to start that.

Watching Scream Queens with the wife. It's mindless fun.

People hosting said they were sick, so we didn't do anything. Just had a steak dinner.
I don't know the story at all.

I played some fallout 4.

Got off early today.

Did nothing productive since I been home.

Had a slurpee last night. Turned my poop dark green. Still pooping green.

Was like a blue mountain dew slurpee.

Wasn't the greatest, but I was craving something sno-conish and that was my only choice at the time

Interesting.

One of our installer's guys failed a background check to get onto one of the jobs.

Convicted of: murder, assault with a deadly weapon, and distribution of a controlled substance.

Our company just made a new rule that: no one convicted of a violent crime can be on our jobs.

Lol?

In other related news:

One of the jobs we're working in.
They ordered this custom carpet tile that costs about $35-40/sq yard. They chose a custom color with a custom pattern with an antimicrobial backing. It took 16 weeks to produce. The mil only makes what you order, plus a fractional amount of overage, like 1-10% - depends on order and where it lands on the loom.

So, electrician busts a clean water pipe - it floods like 1" deep throughout a 1500 sqyd area.

They demo it all up and throw it away. In the dumpster. Perfectly fine carpet that can be salvaged and reused.

They gonna be mad.

Should we do a dumpster salvage op?

It rained all weekend pretty heavy. Anything that went into the dumpster is just trash. Plus, I'm sure there was a ton of stuff thrown on top of it. Because they have to demo sheetrock and other things when a floor floods that high.

Morning folks.

Been a busy week or so.

We'll start with good news:

Daisy leaves on Friday to go back home for a week ish. She's excited. She's shopped all weekend for a dress that she needed for her cousin's wedding. Bought gifts for the family.

I got my mouse and that's about it.

Bad news:

Monday, Daisy was driving home and some dickweed basically forced her into an island turn lane thing. It popped her tire and damaged the rim pretty bad. She managed to get it to a gas station. I get the distress call, because obviously makes sense.

I go to the rescue.

No cosmetic damage. Wheel is toast. I go to put the spare on, and there is one of those safety locks on the wheel. So I can't remove the damaged tire, since for some unknown reason - the dealer didn't give us a key to it.

Car has roadside assistance. I call. I let them know the issue. They send a dude. Dude doesn't have key. I send dude away

I call them back. I ask for a row to dealership. Takes forever. They find someone, but say that it will be at least 90 minutes. So I take Daisy home and come back to wait. Tow shows up. Gets towed. I go home.

Call dealership in morning to get stuff started with repair of tire and alignment etcetc.

He says that it would be at least Thursday before we can pick it up, depending on the issues. Sad face.

So summary of Monday - 8pm accident. 8:20 called roadside. 9:30 sent first dude away. 9:45 - called road side. Took them over an hour to find someone. 11ish - get told it will be 90 minutes. Took Daisy home and drove back after wasting some time. 2A.M. - tow shows up.

Good times. 6 hours wasted because they don't include a key

Did you look in the iwner's manual/glove box for the key?
Did daisy ID the perpetrator?
Have fun in France, Madelf!
