Couple of things coming to Dallas that I wanted to see, but I wanted them as cheaper things, like <$100 pre-tax/fees a ticket.

Everything is gonna be like $150 before all of that. I'm just not about that life, even though it would be fun. I got the money, but I wasn't trying to make an event out of it, just something kinda fun to do, not stuff to make me broke if I go to the 3-4 things I wanted to do.

I agree with the cost of entertainment being a possible detractor. There have been several shows and concerts over the years that I've skipped because of price, I'd rather just youtube a previous show with decent audio quality or maybe take a nap.

I prefer 2-5 anyways. Just a rough game where i play, because it gets too deep for me.

Routinely gets to be a 3x straddle game or like $25 or 50 rock.

In this area, it's where the button just pays whatever the rock amount is. Like a $50 straddle but mandatory.

I am not sure how to adjust for that. Seems like the CO becomes a really good position.

Yeah, it's a gambling game. I can't afford it. I have to get in and get out before it gets that big. You see 4-5 calls with a raise to 2-300.

I don't hitnrun at my local room. So, it's tough for me sometimes.

Unrelated note - did my sleep study last night. Sleeping in wires sucks. Took them 40 minutes to hook me up. Slept kinda bad, whatever.

Prolly have results in a day or two, but they were so booked and their scheduling conflicted with all of my other scheduling, so I don't get to know results until like May 15th or so.

Really having a hard time being here. Just ready to get the hell out of here and relax for the weekend. I don't have any projects due until like the 5th or 8th. They won't take me more than a few hours to do them, so I'm just sucking the clock.

I'd like more work to do, but I like not doing anything also.

Thinking tomorrow that I'm gonna get the Galaxy S8. Not the plus, though. I don't think I want a giant phone like that.

Daisy is wanting a new phone too, so she may get an S8 or Iphone 7 or whatever came out last.

We'll see how it goes on that front.

I also really wanna play some poker, but I have not been having winning sessions, so I'm a bit worried about playing.

I feel that I play fine, but just when it's getting close to time to go, I just massively spew trying to make things happens. More often than not, I get my money in with the best hand, but there is no reason to be risking 100+ BB's with 1 pair vs a FD or whatever. I feel that I just push too many chips in, and then just racing them off.

100 bbs with top pair against FD is very very ideal. You woyld be happy to get AK in against TJ preflop.

I meant 100+ like 175bbs. Like, i agree it's ideal, but i don't HAVE to get it all in. I can maybe push him out on the turn if he misses or get it all in there as a bigger favorite.

The problem with live games is that when it gets deep, i often dont have enough out of play money to rebuy to cover if variance doesnt go my way.
