Seattle to Vegas the Long Way (and home again)

I have wanted to drive to Vegas via the Grand Canyon for a few years now. Got sick in 2013 (CMV viremia related to Kidney transplant) and got well just in time to fly down. ( http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/44...-wsop-1343930/ ) I flew down last year too. Everything is shaping up this year to do it .I just got the Bronco tuned up and looks like I'm ready to go. I'm planning to leave on Wednesday the 20th of May.
First day will be a long drive to maybe as far as Great Basin NP for 2 nights. Then on to Bryce Canyon NP early Friday to get a spot before the hoard shows up for Memorial day. As far as I can tell most sites are first come. Then 2 nights in Zion, May 24-25
I have a reservation in the North Rim campground of Grand Canyon NP for Tuesday 5/26- Thursday 5/28 with an overlap at Tuweep Thursday night. Getting to Tuweep is a 3-5 hour drive down a crappy road. Kind of funny how that all worked out. Once I had the work done on the Bronco, I started looking to make a reservation. I found 1 site for 1 night (Wed) over two months so I grabbed it. Then I looked the next day and got Thursday. I didn't see the e-mail saying I got the backcountry permit for the one night at Tuweep thus the overlap. Today I looked and found a spot for Tuesday, so three nights in four different sites lol. I am glad I get the 50% discount on campsites and free entry into the parks! There are some benefits to being handicapped.
And then Vegas! I have rented a crappy 1 (maybe 2...) bedroom with a kitchen for 10 nights (@$37 per night $229 a week). Might stay longer if I am playing well. Might leave sooner if not . I am planning to play a number of Omaha 8 or better tournaments. Almost impossible to not play some Hold'em as well. I am hoping my cash game (LO8 and maybe some BigO) can support my modest tournament dreams.
