i did okay for a while but as in omaha things happen and almost all my winnings evaporated with strange hands on the last card. but that is to be expected in that game.

For bold portion:
Oh, my....brings back memories. I just never considered hi-low Omaha a serious game, thus I survived most of my playing sessions.
My fondest memory is a big bluff I pulled off years ago. I had nothing, heads up (a rarity) with a good tight player because everyone else had folded to me - I bet my 8 bucks and Mr. tightwad on the button folded. His low draw had exploded in his face on the last card like everyone's. Didn't have to show my nothing hand, no high (the pathetic high hand had visibly folded prior), and raked in a mountain of white chips.
I remember this because bluffing in low-limit Omaha is a rarity - but it can happen once in a Blue Moon. And if feels so good.
