thanks for the article plug mack. there are so many ways to get cheated in poker. and nowadays and i guess always most players dont want to even think about it as it ruins the game for them in their mind.
but it is something you have to know about, or sooner or later you get taken real hard. thats why i usually say to not lose very much in any single spot.
and play very carefully until you have scoped it out.

Excellent advice. This is the very best way, and perhaps the only way, to really protect yourself, both in private games and public games like in Vegas during the Series. Don't assume the house will protect you, even if you tell them about it.

Even when you see something wrong and you don't know what it is -- get away. And if you see something wrong and figure you can deal with it, don't assume that there aren't other things going on that you haven't spotted.

got my 2nd shot friday. got a little soreness in my arm around the shot. no big deal at all.
some have had it worse and i got the moderna shot. didnt have a choice and would have picked that one anyway.

ive never worried too much as mostly older people which is me are the ones that died but almost all, 95% of the deaths people had health issues, obesity, heart problems, diabetes etc. so far in life ive hadnt had any.

there is a good no limit holdem game close by. not real big, but i might go tomorrow and give it a try or at least take a look. my big game hasnt re started since the virus. those guys must be sitting on bags of money by now.

played some poker. not worth it games tight for what they are and not big enough to fight the rake. still its nice to get out but i need to find some bigger poker games.
my big best one hasnt been going since the virus wiped it away.

Played some too last weekend. The players were terrible, but the stakes small and none of them had any money. I'm not going to be able to find bigger games where I live so will end up having to travel if I want to play.

im in the same boat right now as far as finding a big enough poker game to suit me. i might sit in some of the smaller ones just to pass some time once in awhile if they look fun to play in. but certainly not to grind.

Yeah. I can have a lot of fun playing poker but grinding can be such a time sink, and require so much mental energy, that I want a chance of making some money if I do it.

At this juncture in time and at the twilight of an illustrious career, perhaps Slipping into easy retirement and pursuing other dreams would be more profitable and productive. Money is not the measure of all things.
