People dump at $1/3. I mean absolutely pour their money into pots they have no business being in.

I have my doubts this is particularly true at $2/5, and I have no intention of soon finding out.

About ten years ago the average age of serious tourny players dropped to the lowest it ever was. Tournaments dominated by 25 year olds. Now most tournaments are dominated by people in their 30’s because the real advance(solvers, it, computer programs etc ) happened 10 years ago. Now everyone knows that stuff so experience comes into play once more.

Unless there is an easy way to go from being slightly above breakeven to killing the game. I don't dislike poker enough to not play against the truly softest amateurs. To have that edge every time I sit down is like obtaining a Master Sword instead of using a deku stick. Maybe if I turn every poker decision into a legend of zelda sidequest then they'll become less annoying.

I suppose I'm alright at coming up with themes on the guitar, but I am still inept at architecting rhythms and solos. They all seem perfunctory to me, suffering from simplicity in rigor.

I'm at 36 clocked hours since Tuesday. If I reach 75 by monday night I'll earn $599 in promo money.

I wanna complain, but it's tiresome to even think about doing it.

LOL. Moral absolutist Ian Nepomniachtchi, who doubles as a chess player named "Nepo", just recently badly fixed a match with an other Ruski, who according to "The Hammer" has "risked his career for this."

The chess world is amusing to follow from a safe distance. I can't wait to see how this one shakes out. Apparently they waltzed their knights around the board and back to their original starting position, seemingly in protest about something?

The fact is, any two competant players, let alone GMs, can force a draw out of the gate with normal moves. Why they would choose to act like monkeys is beyond reason and unprecedented.

World Champion Mikhail Tal once said on the topic of GM Pre-arranged Draws that if two chess players don't want to fight, there is nothing you can do to make them fight.

This was (well) before the inception of Armageddon tiebreaks.

Nepo is quite the peculiar fellow, and that's putting it mildly.

I'm at 40 hours on the week thus far. So long as I stay the course...I am crushing this promotion.

If the promo is renewed I'm quite likely going to enslave myself to it through April. I can breakeven at poker, while clearing enough money to have a surplus after paying my bills.
