Only i have no these 'extractors' , my vent was black metal and the pipe brass, and the inner screw of vent left stuck when i pulled the rest out. So i tried jamming different big screws in... until i went into complete Serb mode hang up on that Aussie Bulgarian piece and rude force broke all of the vent left in, to clear the hole. Then i cleaned the fitting reinstalled and sealed a spare vent, it doesn't seem to leak at all and this is how it looks now.
