So after some reflection upon my earlier posts, I decided to retire from poker for a while. I don't have fun playing 1/2-2/5 to make money, it's just too much of a grind.
I'm going to get my money up and play deep 2/5-5/10 like I used to, and higher stakes tournaments. Whenever I played at these stakes, I always had a lot of fun. Not sure if it's because I consider these "high stakes" and think I'm a big shot, or because it is more exciting since the stakes are higher. It's probably a combination of both.
I aim to make a return after my business debt is more or less paid off and my cash flow increases greatly. By the WSOP next summer, I should be exactly where I want to be at.
I'm going on a nice vacation this Wed. I fly out of NY with my girl that night, and we are taking an overnight flight to Ireland. We are spending about a week there, and plan on driving all over the island. Then we are heading to Poland for a few days for our good friends' wedding. I went to Poland before, and I love that country. And to cap off the trip, we're going to go to Barcelona for a day. Ideally, I would've liked to go for longer, but that's how our schedule pans out for this trip.
I will not be making updates while on vacation, I might post a bunch of pics when I get back.
