That's a nice set of movies. I really, really need to get to Phantoms. I heard Ben Affleck was the bomb.

My only major difference with your taste is probably the C for Texas Chainsaw Massacre. That movie is probably more like an A imo.

It was kinda funny seeing a baby faced Affleck playing a supposed former FBI agent turned small town sheriff.

Texas chainsaw was definitely interesting, the lead girls annoying nonstop screaming took me out of it a little, but the killers were definitely scary/freaky

I'm not trending the right way. Not worrying about it this weekend though, birthday weekend so I'm playing poker tonight and then dinner and maybes movie with the wife tomorrow night. Up $160 from cash, and playing in a tourney at midnight, it's been maybe 2 years since I've played poker in a casino, enjoying it so far.

I don't get any credit for losing this week, caught a nasty stomach virus which lead to an unpleasant several days, but nice to see a negative number heading into thanksgiving week regardless.

No chance I'm weighing in the day after thanksgiving, went ahead and knocked it out this morning. Will probably more than makeup for the loss this weekend, my wife's family cooks a lot and does it well. Hope everyone has a great holiday! My personal goal is to enjoy the time off and keep work out of my brain for 95% of the weekend.

I email my list to a bunch of friends and family and they were up in arms about Airplane! as well. I think nostalgia plays a huge part in that, last month was the first time I'd ever seen it. If you put a large group of people in a room to watch it for the first time I think you'd see substantially lower grades then those that remember it from the 80's and have watched over and over since.

Not going in the right direction so far this year. On a positive note I had a solid exercise week, just gotta get my eating back under control. I did make some progress the 2nd half of the week so I'm feeling ok at the moment.

Finally a negative.

We started watching a new show recently, Bates Motel, (it about Norman and Norma Bates life before Psycho, only set in modern day). We're catching up through Netflix, and it looks like season 3 will be on A&E starting March 9th, we're 7 episodes in and I highly recommend it to this point. It also peeked my curiosity to finally watch Psycho, which was fantastic.

We also finished our 3rd journey through The Wire, it's been hyped to death at this point, but it lives up every time, I absolutely love it.
