Yeah, I don’t have a house, but boy, do I have a home. You close your eyes when you see it, but it’s there, it’s big, and it’s fresh.

Try stomping on it some more, I’ve learned some things these past few days. And I’m not gonna put up with the **** anymore, come take another piece, go for it. No need for any weapons, just gotta ask you to throw the first punch. You won’t will you, you just spew your filth, kinda like the lion from that movie, you know which movie.

Some truths I have learned in the past two months.

The world isn't that dangerous. The media likes to make you believe people are bad. If you look someone in the eye 2 feet away, you come to an understanding quickly whether you can trust someone or not, no matter if you speak their language or not.

Minorities in this country are not the problem. I was the minority in my city while living on the streets, and most of the people I came across were immigrants, both legal and illegal I am guessing. They are not a problem for this country. They are a blessing. They work hard and just want the best for their country back home, their country here, and their families. All the homeless people during my time out there were whites who had drug issues or the mentally ill...

A few bad neighborhoods skew the stats for **** Metro. Most places are not bad and no, we do NOT NEED so many cops in L and S. I have no clue why there are so many cops in these cities, but they are not needed. I have been pulled over so many times for no reason just because I was driving while poor late at night while sober. They will make **** up to pull you over, I am white.

Being homeless is tough. It is unnerving to have to fall asleep without shelter, without a car, without a tent. It is possible, but it is fleeting at first. A few things that are awesome when you're homeless - water, clean water. Clean socks and underwear. Other homeless people. Nice business owners who will give you water when you need it. The bus system. Libraries, where you can escape the heat and get **** done on a computer...Churches who are actually Biblical and hand out food once a week no questions asked. These are the blessings of the poor and the homeless and they are much appreciated.

If you go to "church" every Sunday and aren't involved in treating every single person you come across with dignity and respect, the least among you, if you just go to say a few words and admit to looking at the websites you weren't suppose to view and aren't involved handing out food or treating the illegals and poor and homeless like you would treat your own kids, well, I have some bad but poingiant news for you. It's not too late. But people, treat others with respect and help people. Not just those in your family, but everyone you come across, then and only then will you begin to understand what being a Christian is about. I would rather spend my time with people who question their faith yet treat everyone well and the poor well, than with a jerk of a ****ing pastor who bad mouths you to your face, imagine what they say to you behind your backs.

Yeah I'm enjoying things again,
like I'm a 10 year old kid.
Turned on a ball game and
saw it as I once did,
years ago when I was not even 11.

It's okay to go slow...
...like the pace of the game,
pitchers going about seven.

Yeah, I'm seeing things through eyes reborn.
It's the reward I warmly receive from suffering a heartbreak forlorn.

Yeah I've been colorin' and remembering good times from the past.

It's overly sensitive

FAILED THANKS

I wanted to say a prayer for you tonight
but I didn't know quite what to say
it seemed like every time I opened my mouth the thoughts just drifted away.
The same old routine and tired cliches were the furtherest thing from my mind.
So I stood there,
water hitting my back,
wondering what it was I had to find.
My mind was tired but I was able to persist,
focusing on you and the reasons we exist.
I didn't pray for you to escape the trials we all go through and love to hate,
because those times seem to help us learn things at a faster rate.
I didn't pray for you to experience only joy,
because life isn't so simple as a marketed children's toy.
The only thing I concluded was that you were on my mind,
and that I was attempting to talk to God, ever though my thoughts were confined.
So the attempted prayer for your wellbeing never came to be,
as it ended in a simple comment of thanksgiving that there is a you and me.
