Some sage advice - You have to imagine your audience in their underwear. This gives you the proper attitude and reduces your fear and the intimidation factor. This is also P.G. Wodehouse advice that I gleaned from his novels.

As to the first bit in your post above; I hardly ever pay attention to whatever it is you are babbling about. It distracts me. I did gobble up some of the linked articles. The authors seem reasonable and articulate and have valid and useful viewpoints.

Speech went well! I got 100%, although I think that also says something about grade inflation :P I spent about 2 hours the morning of practicing and fine tuning a few things. I was happy with it.

Works been killing me, haven't had time to read or think about anything else the last several days. Deadlines loom...
