As far as pressure goes, I stopped listening to people outside my head when I was twelve. That makes for some interesting times when dealing with the world though, lol. I have Aspergers (high functioning, thank you!), so that makes it easier to space people out. Hope all is well...

One of my Chinchilla's is having an x-ray tomorrow and is likely going to need surgery, pretty depressed about this. Small animals are at significant risk under anesthetic. He had to be left at the vet over night and one of the worst parts is my other Chinchilla is running around the cage like crazy wondering where he is

They're only 3, and their lifespan is usually around the 15 year mark.

Those are rather unusual household pets. Are they high maintenance?

Not really, they just need feeding, some hay/straw and fresh water every day. They have a dust bath every week to keep their fur healthy and they have a few toys in their cage to chew on (their teeth constantly grow so they have to grind them down). I let them out the cage to run around for 5-10 minutes everyday which keep them happy.

The x-ray revealed that he has a tooth infection so he's being treated with antibiotics. It's still a problem but I'm relieved because I had feared it was a respiratory problem or pneumonia.

Watching a manager get knocked out by a petty thug is a very humbling experience. For those few split seconds before he inevitably hits the floor, all his achievements and character mean absolutley nothing; he is momentarily brought down to the thug's way of life. The manager is at that moment in time, no different than the many hoodrats that have been knocked out before him. As he is falling towards the ground it's as if his dignity and all he has accomplished is falling with him.

As long as nobody gets seriously injured, I don't see how it isn't a huge positive for everyone involved. The thug gets the satisfaction of taking a swipe at someone who has a lifestyle they envy, the manager receives a blow to his ego, and the bystander develops a new perspective.
