Society's little protocols piss me off. There's a teacher at my college constantly dropping hints that she wants me to **** her, this includes asking me pointless questions and giving me the look when we walk past each other on campus, this isn't even a weekly thing it happens nearly every day and sometimes it happens multiple times a day. She'll smile at me and I know it's more than just a friendly smile because I can see out the corner of my eye that she is waiting for me to acknowledge that she's doing it.

The reason that norms and protocols piss me off is becaue I know she is desperately fighting against the urge of letting me plow her due to the whole "position of trust" dilemma (which is ridiculous since I'm 20, but lolUK). She isn't even my damn teacher, and I'm not saying "every teacher wants to **** me because I'm great looking" I personally think I'm ugly, it's just desperate older women with boring lives have a thing for me. It often feels like I can read them like a book and they somehow know this just by looking at me, they know that I'm the polar-opposite of their boring husband. I am young, free and full of lust with a future ahead of me. I think me being super skinny also plays a part, they are fed up of their fat mediocre husbands. I often overhear her boring phone conversations with her husband "did you get milk?", "have you picked up the kids?" I think he must be a house husband or a lolpostman.

Anyway, back to this teacher. As well as constantly giving me the look, when I stay late she'll ask "what I'm up to and if I'm alright" which is usually pretty standard but you have to remember she's not my teacher and she doesn't even teach in the same department as my teachers, in other words she is gagging for a shagging. A few weeks before Christmas she was walking with a male co-worker and as I was walking by she looked at me and said "that's a really nice top", I was pretty happy about this mainly because I could see how pissed off the guy was as he was in the middle of talking to her(probably trying to **** her) and she just interrupted him to compliment me.

All this bull****ting and tip-toeing around is driving me nuts though, does she think I'm going to brag about it to friends? Does she value her marriage with her fat dumb postman husband? (I doubt it, if she wants the goods from a broke college student)

It's got to the point now where I just ignore her and look away when she starts smiling at me. I've also been more cold towards her over the past week, for example, yesterday I stayed late to do some work and she asked me what I was doing I mumbled "just work" and she said "sorry?" I quickly responded "I told you once, I'm not telling you again". She knows what I want and I'm not waiting it out until I've finished college. She'll be too old then and I'll have other options.

As he is falling towards the ground it's as if his dignity and all he has accomplished is falling with him.

As long as nobody gets seriously injured, I don't see how it isn't a huge positive for everyone involved. The thug gets the satisfaction of taking a swipe at someone who has a lifestyle they envy, the manager receives a blow to his ego, and the bystander develops a new perspective.
Why not give the thug a reward so he can repeat? I mean, the manager didn't earn what he has, he came out of the womb with the manager title. He deserves to be given a brain injury, right? As long as the thug doesn't go after you next, that is.

You missed the part where I said "as long as nobody gets seriously injured".

Everything else you mentioned besides the brain injury part is exactly why it's so humbling. It could happen to anyone! Your status means nothing! Bill Gates could be in the wrong place at the wrong time

I didn't miss the part that said "get knocked out." What part of that is not seriously injured? Or is having one side of your brain bruised by violent collision with your skull a normal occurrence for you?

I think you need to seek perspective in a different place. Try comparing yourself to a uni student who might be in Addis Abbaba or Nairobi.

People don't have time for the mentally ill, it's sad but true. Sure, if you know someone who is mentally ill you will of course do your best to try to help them, but after realising you can't do anything to help and that they're on an inevitable path to self-destruction the whole ordeal of being the person they come to talk to begins to get tiresome and repetitive. Which is totally understandable. After all, people have their own problems to deal with.

What's really sad is that a lot of mentally ill people are aware of this. They know that if they were to empty their hearts to friends there's a good chance they'll be thought of as weak and potentially ostracised from their social circle.Nobody wants to hang with someone that is on a downer, it forces some mentally ill people to feign happieness; thus people don't know that there's anything wrong with them. It's why I find it weird that after tragedies involving mentally ill people you'll always hear people say stuff like "this could have been stopped if they had gotten the right treatment", "they just needed someone to talk to". It's obviously not as simple as that, they're mentally ill not stupid, they are aware that there's a negative stigma with letting people know about it. It's kind of like you're trapped, there is nowhere to turn to which often leads to self-abuse.

I know it's a random rant, but I just find it quite sad. A lot of people will probably disagree, but oh well, it's my take on the situation.

You should bang that teacher. College is the last part of your school life and the last time you'll be as free. When you get a job your time is all wrapped up. It'll be a great story to tell if you banged a university professor, unfortunately I never got the chance to do it myself.
Since she's not even your teacher you can just say it flat out. Next time she smiles at you ask her what she's doing that night and if she wants to get drinks, she'll know exactly what you're suggesting. This is assuming that you in fact want to bang her.

I have compassion for the mentally ill, especially schizophrenics and people who need hospitalization. We had a guy in POG go crazy a while ago, had to be hospitalized and have shock treatments. He used to talk about committing suicide constantly. He's doing a lot better lately.
