Fortunately I was able to partay with this Canuck band several times. Those were Wild times.
The best night together was at a tiny bar in Aylmer, Ontario just outside of the capital city Ottawa where we pretty much ran the place for the night and got whatever we wanted. Epic night for me!
I've got a bit of a nugget that I'm holding back on. It's a pretty cool story about hanging out with Pete Townshend of The Who for a few days in Israel in the early eighties. It's coming but I have to be in just the perfect mindset because I am still overwhelmed with the whole thing given he was my idol at the time. My favourite band was The Stones as I grew up as an impressionable rebellious youngster and my favourite Guitarist was Pete Townshend.
RR - I think yer gunna dig this. It is long (45 minutes). Shows how sympathy evolved in the studio. I think any one who really likes the stones will get off on this...

Watching the session reminds me of how we consume the finished, packaged product, the same way we see meat that's sold in a supermarket. We forget the process and the work involved. The talents and skills of these guys seem far more apparent when you watch the way the final issue is built. Don’t ya think?
I friggin love exile on main street - also a huge fan of bobby keys (sax). I also really dig Leon Russel which leads me to this
linda ronstadt is a back up singer 2
