I actually went to see this at the cinema when it came out, I'm that old.
Did the transformation scene hold up for you?
Ummm I am struggling to recall.
I must be 5-10 years younger than you.
It just did not seem horrific for me.
Top put it in perspective - I remember going to an older neighbourhood friend's place to watch Friday 13th (8-11yr group) and it scared the *&^*&^ outta me - and that was the popping of my horror cherry....and I think I watched one of its series in the last year and I found it kinda scary even though I could anticipate most of where the plot was going.
So I would imagine if I went and watched it again I would expect that I would like it more than AMIL.
Which also means, that I can see how nostalgia can have a big impact. Although I think I had seen AMIL before.
