The problem is that I need to have at least one of the planned programs working asap but I don't want to delegate the task to anyone else. They're not going to be complex, just text file parsers and window managers. I might even rewrite the code in the good old C / AHK if I fail to internalise the necessary Python syntax within the next week.

I did get the paperwork done and the keys to my new apartment into my pocket but that event had no real meaning because right now it's just a ferroconcrete and brick box that's unfit for inhabitation (like in the majority of newly built urban houses in Russia) and I'll have to spend thousands of $ over the summer to make it fit for life and I'll also have to replace the default wooden entrance door anyway and the new metallic one will have another set of keys.

However, I shouldn't be reckless either, as there are actions that are -EV for me personally in terms of enjoyment.

To be frank, I've never had a remotely precise idea of which format of relationships I'd ever agree for. What I know is that I don't enjoy the formats that >99.9% of people use.

The human appearance is a freemium product, and while most people wish to pay (with cash, services, affection, whatever) for the exclusive access to someone's whole picture, the free preview of it (the way people look in public) provides me with enough enjoyment already. And I can access millions of beautiful free previews so I'll never have to ensure that any of them stays around for long. At some point, I might start giving some value back to those whose masterpiece looks I appreciate (as in Patreon), but that would be an act of charity already, not something done out of necessity.

But intimacy is a taboo for me as I don't like to get too deep into others' issues - I have a lot of my own to deal with, and I'll handle them better than if I delegated them to anyone else who's not a professional counselor, as I know myself better than others will ever know me.

I completely believe that you are pretty skilled to deal with your issues. You are even skilled enough to be actually of help for others. And I think that for you it is so that every issue you are presented with, it is kind of "mathematical" problem, that might be interesting to resolve. Not only you, many people, in fact majority of people likes to solve problems. Psychy problems are not different.

One thing I noticed here, issues tend to dissolve themself when shared. I don't know exactly why, but writing things down changes them a lot.

I believe you but I have a long list of priorities and the most urgent one is to learn to play enough high quality poker volume for a living. All the other issues can wait until I sort that one out.

On a related note, I've noticed that nowadays, the top 0.5% (by appearance) of those females who appear to be aged from 18 to 45, aka 7/10 hotties, tend to turn me on about as hard as only the top 0.1% aka 8/10 used to excite me 10 years ago. So my vulnerability to female beauty has increased over the years, contrary to what I expected.

If I was a betting person, and I am, I'd say he's referring to the influx of women wearing long leather boots and/or tight black yoga pants.

What puzzles me about alloromantic girls is that they go on bitter rants on FB (often a few months long) when someone breaks up with them.
