Omaha hi/lo full ring limit is also a great idea either 4/8 or 8/16 to start with the eventual goal of 15/30 at the Venetian. Both lower limits run regularly at Orleans and Venetian. Bankroll requirements are actually lower.

Thank you, but I don't usually play limit and would need a larger bankroll in order to compensate for not being as well versed in the PLO8.

I have studied the game but I'm not at a point where I believe I would be able to grind that game, I'd rather stick to NLH and PLO if any game.

I do appreciate the advice, but with my current circumstances I would need coaching in order to play that game lol

One easy way around this to get you some practice in mixed games is a HORSE tourney. It's all limit and teaches you several different games. They have one at Orleans every Sunday night it's like a Hundo bucks.

I usually play limit Omaha when I'm hammered so I lose less money but it's pretty fun too. PLO is actually the worst variance game for bankroll because it's not split pot and draw based. PLO is a lot less spewy imo

I don't get why people are so caught up in a possible fail. Some of the most successful people in the world have failed many times over. Thomas Edison is a good example. And she has already stated that she could not get any lower than where she came from. It has already made her a stronger individual and just being where she is defines some success.

Enjoy/embrace YOUR journey and do not let anyone tell you otherwise. If it ends in a way that some feel is a fail so be it. I am guessing your definition is much different than theirs and really that is all that counts! You have already demonstrated that you have more strength and determination than most. There's no such thing as failure/recession for women in Vegas (*who aren't addicted to meth, or morbidly obese). There's millions of lonely men with a bankroll in this town that will always finance a young woman. I have a friend that makes 2000-2500 a weekend bartending and she has a guy that pays her rent, one that pays for her 2014 5 Series BMW, and another who takes care of the wardrobe.

Not saying that she should go find 3 sugar daddies to sleep with but if worse comes to worse, but she seems to have the communication skills necessary to never have to be broke again in this town. OP has a lot of potential life run-good going forward from my perspective.

I had to look it up myself. Google "Brandi Hawbaker" and "Brandi Hawbaker David Sklansky" and you should find plenty of info and a few nice pictures. Her life seems like it would make for the greatest Martin Scorsese picture of all time. Epic rise to greatness followed by epic self destruction that was probably always going to happen given her personality.

With that said, it seems like there are lots of details that took place that google didn't bring up. find for you. It also seems like many threads about her were deleted on 2+2. Not even sure what her username was here. If anyone else has a good TL;DR or summary I'd love to hear it.
